—THE WAY OF WATER—
Ao'nung's hand placed itself behind his sister's back, offering comfort. His eyes teared as he looked at his feet, reminiscing all his memories with Neteyam as said boy's body sunk into the depth of the sea.
The joyous boy was taken away so soon. The purest with good intentions—and a will mightier than the average warrior. Ao'nung had been blessed to have the forest Na'vi in his life.
He recalled their first meet; Ao'nung's blue eyes—judging and distant—jeering with Rotxo at Neteyam's fragile-looking tail, thin and agile, but not made for the waters.
At the moment, Ao'nung hadn't known that the boy would change his life around—that the darker Na'vi would reel into his heart, and be a notable aspect of his pitiful life. Full of joy with his distant chuckles and his flickering never ending curious golden eyes—was an image that Ao'nung could only witness in his mind and listen to in his ears.
At night Ao'nung couldn't sleep. His frame kept shifting from side to side, unable to feel restful. He was shivering, the cool and harsh air hushing around him. There was nothing to hold onto. Neteyam was no longer here.

At the Tree of Souls, Ao'nung would visit Neteyam anytime he could. He would sneak away from his pod, late at night, and relive the agonizing but dearest memories:
"Why are you crying?" Neteyam would often ask with his toothy grin.
Ao'nung would answer the same: "I'm just really happy to see you," He would say.
They would talk, conversations on end. They would laugh. They would hold each other, and Ao'nung would feel his heart warm, having known that Neteyam would never forget him too.
"I love you, you know that?" Ao'nung would ask.
Neteyam would smile, and caress Ao'nung's small curls. "I know," He would say. "And I love you too, always..."
Always. Their Tsaheylu was forever. Ao'nung pledged himself to never mate with anyone that wasn't Neteyam. Even if he became Olo'eyktan and was forced to find a mate, he would refuse. He already had one, despite being deceased.
Countless visits and something gnawed at Ao'nung's brain. He wondered if one-day bravery would prey upon him, in which he can prevail and tell his and Neteyam's parents that they were once mated, and once in love.
"You're slow!" Neteyam chuckled, harmonious to the ears as his long legs scampered through the sand, beaming with joy as Ao'nung chased from behind, attempting to catch the speedy boy.
Neteyam was childish, but he had the purest heart Ao'nung had ever known. Neteyam matured so soon, life and childhood were taken away by the hands of war.
At last, Neteyam was with Eywa, in which he could draw breaths with peace, free of responsibilities, and peer over his loved ones.
The Heart of a Grandiose Na'vi—Neteyam, in other words, Ao'nung would tell others. He was proud of his mighty warrior; the one that had taken his heart and made him a better Na'vi.
As days passed, Ao'nung found solace, but his flaming heart stood strong, beating for his one and only. His Neteyam.
