Back In Korea

Specter will be speaking in three different languages throughout the story. English will be in normal text, Korean will be in Bold Text, and Japanese will be in Italics. This will apply to those that speak these languages as well. You'll be seeing HGA quite a bit which stands for, Hunter's Guild Association.

Specter is currently walking down the halls within the Main Branch of the Hunter Guild Association. Making his way to the Teleport Rooms to use Rift to travel to Korea. It has been a year since the confrontation that he has been in Korea. Captain Higashi has called him back for an emergency, cutting his journey shorter than he expected. This was alarming since this is something that his Captain doesn't normally do. Specter was nearly there when his phone rang. He stopped in his tracks and pulled out his phone from his jacket pocket. He stared at the one name that he hasn't seen in so long, So-hee, his noona. He dismissed the call and chuckled as he resumed walking. He arrived at the Teleporter Rooms and opened Door B. He twisted the doorknob and walked into the very bare room. It hasn't changed one bit since the last time he saw it. Not like there was much to see anyways. He lifted his left hand and slashed vertically and horizontally into the air. There now was a plus sign floating in the air with a jade aura. Specter thought to himself of the place where he liked to hang out most when he was in Korea. As soon as the image of the tallest tower in Korea came to mind, the plus sign enlarged and became a portal. Specter stepped forward and into Korea for the first time in one year.

Specter felt the fresh summer breeze hit his face. He inhaled and exhaled. This smell was nostalgic and brought back the memories of the days of being a fresh blood. Specter walked to the edge of the tower, crouched and looked below. He could see people, cars, and even ghosts walk by. Then Specter felt a presence behind him. He knew this aura and she wasn't happy.

So-hee: "Find it funny missing my call huh?" She questioned Specter angrily.

Specter: "You know how I am. I wanted to surprise you noona." Specter said honestly without facing her.

So-hee: "Surprises doesn't mean you can miss my calls. Now come on, let's see that face. It's been a year Spec." She says.

So-hee looks at Specter as he turns her way and could see that besides his hair, he hasn't changed that much. He was still wearing his custom green jacket that now has some battle damage. No doubt Master Finn would scold him later if he ever thought of meeting him later. The left sleeve has been torn, now only coming down to his elbow. He also got rid of his left black glove but his silver watch was still attached to his wrist. She could see that he was wearing a black t-shirt under the jacket. He is wearing black combat cargo pants and boots, his favorites. She could see that he cut his jet-black hair. Instead of falling to his shoulder blades, it now fell to his shoulders. He usually had it in a ponytail but has it flowing freely. She stared at his face and at that smile that he always wore. His brown eyes still held such a cheerful expression.

So-hee: "You've not been taking care of yourself Yawn." She said.

Specter: "But I have been taking care of myself!?" he sounded offended by So-hee's observation.

So-hee always looked at Specter as her younger brother. When they had minimal roles within their squads, she knew the risks Specter took to protect those around him. Even putting his life on the line to "ensure a better tomorrow".

So-hee: "Those new scars on your arm say otherwise." So-hee said, pointing to his fresh scars on his left arm.

Specter: "These, these are nothing noona. Mere scratches." Specter said happily.

So-hee just sighed and walked to Specter.

So-hee: "Come on, let's go. Captain Higashi is waiting for you."

Specter: "Where are we meeting?"

So-hee: "The Guild."

Specter sighed a loud sigh. He opened another portal and walked with So-hee through the portal to HGA's Korean Branch.

Specter was walking through the halls with So-hee and could tell she had changed within the year he was gone. Instead of wearing her custom "Red Wings" jacket, she was now wearing a white hoodie with StrayKids printed on the back. He could also see the names of the members printed on there as well. She was wearing jeans with white Nike sneakers to match her fit. Her sleeves were rolled up and could see the engraved cuffs she always wore on both arms. Her figure was still the same, slim with muscles with nothing going on with the top. Her hair would usually be let down, but she has it tied into a bun. He too could see new scars on both of her arms. Her face was still smooth and pale but could see that now she has a little scar on her right eyebrow. This drew some anger to him because he saw So-hee as an older sister. Someone he too swore to protect with his life. But he calmed himself. If he was this upset with that scar on her face then So-hee must be even more upset at his new scars that now occupy his left arm. Lest she know he has accumulated even more in areas she can not yet see. Specter took a glance at her blue eyes and could see that they held such a tired expression. She has been pushing herself lately and would pick her mind later. They arrived at their destination. Before So-hee left, they quickly made a plan to meet after work to catch up. Specter now stood in front of double sided door. Beyond it, he felt the presence of his Captain and five other persons. He reached his face with his left hand, and brought it down lazily. A jade half mask formed, covering his nose down to his jaw. Its design that of the human skull. He tied his hair quick into a ponytail, took a deep breath and then twisted the doorknob.
