Chapter 6 - Coming out

"I can't believe you actually have a crush on Dupain-Cheng. That's ridiculous utterly ridiculous." Chloe says frustrated.

"Why do you care who I love? It's not like it's bothering you." Zoe snaps back.

"Well I care when it's the baker girl." Chloe retaliates.

"Chloe! I like girls, okay! And you won't stop me from liking who I want. Besides you don't even like me, why the hell do you even care?" Zoe says fed up with Chloe.

"Yeah, but it's Marinette I don't want her cheap self up in the hotel." Chloe saus all snobby.

"Can you just leave me alone? I don't need you to watch over me!" Zoe says raising her voice.

Zoe turns her head to look out the car window and Zoe can hear Chloe making an "Ugh!" Noise.

They arrived back at the hotel, Chloe rushing inside not wanting anything to do with Zoe.

Zoe just walks in slowly far behind. She walks into her room. Sitting down on her bed, when she gets startled by her mum and Chloe bursting in.

"Chlorine told me you like girls?" Audrey said disgusted.

"Yeah, so what?" Zoe fired back at her mum.

"That's disrespectful! You need to find a man."

"No! For the last time, I'm not dating a guy, I like a girl and I don't care what you say or do. I'm not going to change for anyone!" Zoe says getting up from the bed walking towards them.

"UNACCEPTABLE!" Audrey scoffs walking out of the room.

"You'll regret that, I'll make sure you're sent back to boarding school!" Chloe threatens.

"You've tried that before and fail miserably every. single. time." Zoe says with a mischievous grin.

"UGH! RIDICULOUS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!" Chloe shouts leaving the room.

Zoe sits back down on her bed, letting out a sigh of relief.

I can't believe I just did that! She thought.

With Marinette

If Marinette wanted a relationship with Zoe, she's going to need to tell her parents. She can't hide this from them. She knows her parents are the sweetest and wouldn't care but why is it still nerve-wracking.

"Marinette what's wrong?" Tikki asked breaking Marinette from her thoughts.

"I want to come out to my parents but I'm scared." Marinette replies.

"You're parents are the sweetest, I'm sure they wouldn't care!" Tikki says shocked.

"Yeah, they may not care but it'll change things and it'll be weird, won't it?" Marinette questions.

"Of course not, I doubt they would care in the slightest, It would obviously come as a shock but as if they'd treat you any differently, they love you!" Tikki says, flooded with a bit too much confidence.

"I guess so." Marinette says still unsure.

"You tell them when you're ready! There is no rush whatsoever." Tikki says flying closer to Marinette.

Marinette nodded, wave of confidence given from her little kwami.

Marinette has been waiting for dinner to tell her parents. Normally they come up around 6 PM, which is when they normally close on Fridays.

She heard them walk through the door to the main room after 6.

"Marinette? Do you want to come down and watch a movie with us?" Her dad shouted out to her.
