I looked over at his figure that stood by the window. His arms were crossed and his eyes rested on her silent form. "I'm not alone."

Three more forms emerged dressed in cloaks. I could already tell who they were from their weapons. A fan and a wrapped puppet on their backs. The taller one had half his face covered.

"Temari. Kankuro. Baki. What brings you here and you better pray its not to harm her." I readied a kunia behind my back. "No." Kankuro said. "We were hoping she'd be awake, but I guess not." Baki continued and I relaxed.

"No one knows when she will." They looked at me as they took off their hoods. "She was poisoned when she was with the Third. She's dying because of it." I saw them grit their teeth. "That's all we know besides her injuries she received. No one knows what happened besides her and what troubles me is why Orochimaru left her. It's a given that he's after her...." I trailed off. "Why were you hoping she'd be awake?" I asked, confused.

"Our KazeKage was found murdered with his two shinobi's." I saw Gaara tense. "We wanted to ask who it was from her. We don't know if it WAS Orochimaru or one of his followers yet." I sighed and rubbed my face.

"I thought you were older, Tou-san." Temari asked, leaning in. "I am, I'm posing as Saya's brother." Kankuro looked around. "Speaking of brothers, where's her twin." I grit my teeth.

"I could care less. He's caused enough strain on Saya at the Exams." I grit and balled my hands into fists. "What DID he say to her after she...you know...killed the Jounin?" Temari asked.

"A disgrace." They blinked as I saw Gaara grit his teeth. "What!?" Kankuro and Temari hissed. Gaara glared at the wall and Baki's eyes widened. I nodded and sat back in my chair.

"She never intended to kill that Sound Jounin. Kakashi said that he could see it in her eyes as she looked at the ground. Sasuke must have saw it and acted on their Clan's beliefs. You see, if you're an Uchiha and you can't kill or stand dead bodies, you were disgraced because it meant you weren't cut out for being a Ninja let alone being able to uphold the 'Uchiha' name. Whoever took care of her before she came to Konoha....kept her sheltered. Very sheltered. I would assume Itachi because she arrived in his cloak." I said and they nodded.

"So...since the two...er...three are now the only one's left, Sasuke basically stripped her of the Uchiha name?" Kankuro asked and I shook my head. "No. He'd have to kill her because she still has the Sharingan." They stiffened. "Which is why I have been here since she was admitted. I don't trust that boy. I didn't trust her at first either until she stuck up for Naruto." Gaara looked thoughtful as I chuckled.

"At first, I thought she was just like Sasuke, but she kept surprising me with her actions. She's protected her teammates like her own family. Even Sakura who's always chasing the Uchiha." I shuddered and looked over Saya's sleeping form.

"A nurse will be coming shortly. I know the Leaf and Suna are not on the friendliest terms right now." Baki nodded. "We should be on our way. Lets go." Baki said, disappearing out the window. Kankuro ruffled Saya's hair before following. Temari kissed her head and frowned. She put a small box on the table and left as well.

"She'll understand, Gaara. It's Saya we're talking about." He glanced at me before looking back at Saya. "Will she be hurt? Of course, but YOU need to talk to her. I'm not trying to order you around, but I'm giving you advice to talk to her. Make her see your side of the story. I know she will listen because that's her nature. She cares about you which is a plus." He stayed silent.

"You can see her when you want, but let me know so I can help out. If Saya trusts you, I can too." He looked at me with an unreadable expression. "I can also reseal The One Tail as well if you'd like. Saya has already asked me. She's worried about you, Gaara. She's told me you can't sleep because of him which means the seal wasn't correctly placed. I, myself, had sealed the Nine Tailed Fox into Naruto. I'll do it as soon as she wakes up because she asked to be there." He closed his eyes.

"Why does she worry so much about me. I tried to kill her twice." I watched him watch her. "I already told you. Think about what I've told you and get back to me on that. A nurse is coming." He went to Saya and placed a hand on her shoulder. I saw him gently squeeze it but disappeared into sand as a nurse walked in.

"Good evening, Tadishi." I nodded to her and she started checking the machines. I looked back out the window as the four figured retreated to the outskirts of Konoha on the roof tops.

"Any progress?" I looked over and saw Shikimaru. "None." I sighed and readjusted her bear as he place a bouquet of flowers near her bed on the stand.

"Sasuke's in the room down the hall now too." He said with a frown and I looked at him. "For what?" I asked and he shrugged. "A Genjutsu was placed on him." I looked over to see Kakashi leaning in the door. He looked over at Saya before taking a seat near the door.

"When did he get here?" I asked and Kakashi shrugged. "Late yesterday afternoon." I slowly nodded and ran my hand through Saya's black hair. "I better head out before Asuma-sensei starts training without me." We nodded and he walked out with his hands in his pockets. We stayed in silence until we heard the door shut.

"The Genjutsu was placed by Itachi." I sighed and shook my head. "Itachi has changed a lot." I said softly and Kakashi nodded. "Apparently Gai found Jiraiya and Naruto as the were in the village next door after it happened. The Akatsuki targeting the Jinchūriki." My eyes hardened. "Do you know their objectives?" Kakashi sighed. "Not yet. Jiraiya told me that tad bit before he set off to find Tsunade." I nodded and sat back in the seat, rubbing my face.

"The only logical reasons I can think of is to either use the hosts and manipulate them into working for them or extracting the beasts. Either way...it's a dangerous situation." Kakashi nodded and then paused. "I'll be back." He said and I nodded as he teleported away. I looked back to Saya and gently held her hand. 'Please hurry, Naruto and Jiraiya...'
