Slowly you open your eyes as you hear soft flipping notes sound from the corner of the room, you gently bring your body to a sitting position as you try to wake yourself from a very heavy sleep. Geralt gently tuck his notes away as he realized you are awake from your deep sleep. You can't help but smile at him following his soft gaze at you, "Morning Geralt" you speak softly, knowing he would hear within the smallest sound you make. "Morning" he answered with a small smile on his cheek.
He slowly brings himself to you as he lands a warm kiss on your forehead. You let out a small giggle as his beard tickles your skin meanwhile kissing you. "Geralt, it's early," you tell him softly. "I know, but I can't help when I look at you" Geralt drew himself a bit further behind, giving you some room to be fully awake.
"Got a new contract?" You ask curiously. "Yeah, nothing interesting though just some vineyard infestation" Geralt replied. "I see, but you still have to be careful and try not to get yourself injured" in a hint of worry you remind him to always put his life first despite whatever might happen on the field. "I will be fine" Geralt answered with a reassuring gesture.
Geralt is packing up his notes and items meanwhile you brush your hair on the dresser trying to look more appropriate after your deep sleep. "I have to go" Geralt speaks to you as he already stands holding the doorknob in his hands, "wait, before you go" you stand as you approach him landing a small kiss on his lips "Be safe Geralt," you tell him with a very soft tone. "I will, thank you (y/n)" Geralt smiled at you for the last time then he left Corvo Bianco with roach to take on the vineyard's infestation contracts.
As you stand alone, you can't help but ask yourself what should you do. You have read all the books you buy, tasting all the wine in the cellars. Suddenly you hear your stomach growling begging for food. "Alright, I'll ask Marlene wonder what she has to offer" driven with hunger and curiosity you opened the kitchen door and you find Marlene cooking peacefully.

"Marlene, good morning" you greet her with a wide smile on your face as you could already smell the cauldron bubbling with the wonderful smell of stew.
"Good morning Madame" she replied meanwhile stirring the stew.
"Such wonderful smell, Marlene I'm starving may I have some of your stew," you ask as you started to swallow your own saliva looking at the delicious stew.
"Of course Madame, you don't have to ask. I will serve it on your table" Marlene replied willingly.
As she served your stew on the table, not a couple of minutes past you already finished it with a nearly clean bowl left. "Thank you, Marlene, it's very delicious" as you thanked her for such stew as a great thing to start the day. Marlene smiles and nods in reply.
Trying to accompany yourself you ask Barnabas basil, if there is any interesting news happening in Beuclair right now "Morning BB, do you know any interesting news in Beuclair nowadays?" You ask out of pure curiosity.
