"Geralt... Geralt..., no she's back. GERALT" you wake up in confusion, your sudden movements rendering your heart in shock pounding even harder. Sharp pain can be felt all over your body, as you hyperventilate in search of his presence.

"I'm... in my... room? It was a dream? Geralt.." you move the blanket from above your body forcing yourself to stand. Trembling you walk stumble and nearly down you finally reached the door knob opening it. Just when you are about to fall, Geralt catches you.

"Why are you here? You suppose to rest." He called your name while carefully supporting you towards the bed as you lay your body once more. You can see his eyes filled with worry and a hint of annoyance. You only froze in fear, but he called your name once more.

"I'm here, calm down..." his calloused hands stroke your bare cheek that is still red from the fever that hasn't been broken. "Stay, please... I... I'm afraid" your breathing is still chaotic, as you whispered to him. "Shhhh... I'm not going anywhere" Geralt replied.

Suddenly the bedroom door is slowly opened, and you can see Marlene walk in with a bowl of soup in her hands. "Your soup Madame" she smiled while putting the soup on the bedside table. "Thank you Marlene" Geralt replied. Marlene also nods in reply as she exited the room.

"Hungry? You haven't eaten in nearly a week" Geralt asks you while taking the bowl of soup from the table. "A week? That's why I'm so... limp" you look at the bowl of soup when suddenly a growling sound can be heard from your stomach.

"Come now, open wide for daddy" You can see him about to spoon-feed you, giggling as you about to stop him. "Geralt, I can eat on my own" as you lowered the spoon that was being held by him, you can see a sudden smile on his face. "I missed those laughs," Geralt said, you stay silent as your face reddened not long followed by a calm smile. But those smile slowly fades away stirred by the guilt you felt, as Geralt quickly noticed.

"I'm sorry Geralt, I should've not talked to her. It's all my fault." Looking down at your arm, you just noticed the livid bruises on your wrist. "You know it's not yours to blame, you have been trapped. Not to mention kidnapped." His eyes saddened revisiting the dark memories.

"How many Geralt? How many bites wounds and bruises do I have? When she... I've lost count..." as you glanced at him, the look on his face. A look that would wrap you around his heart, as it aches him so much to see you suffer.

"I will mend you, you are always there to heal me, stitch my wounds, I often see you struggle day and night searching for the herbs I need. Now it's my turn to heal you..." He brings you to his arms gently, hugging you and rendering you completely calm and still.

"And now you are save" his genuine eyes fully drawn to you. His presence brings peace to your heart as you look back to those beautiful golden eyes. You can feel a hint of relief and peace as he caresses your arms.

"Thank you Geralt, I love you..." your genuine smile touched his heart once more. "And I love you too..." Geralt replied as he lands a warm kiss on your lips.
