Episode 3. New friends

(After hours of searching the chosen have not found any sign of Tyson in the forest.)

(At the edge of the forest. Nearby a construction site for a new suburban neighborhood. A hole in the ground emerges. Tyson crawls out and sits against an unfinished house. He looks at his arm and bits of it are pitch black and bleeding. Skin nearly falling off. Yet he doesn't feel pain, only hunger. Tyson notices a squirrel nearby. He lunges towards the squirrel with great speed and consumes it alive. With no trace of the squirrel left. Not even a blood stain on his clothes. Tyson looks back at his arm and everything has magically healed. He could not believe it.)

*Tyson* I ate a living creature..then my arm is just...fixed. what in the hell? I wonder if my mother is worried.
(Tyson's vision gets blurry but he sees a silhouette that gets closer and closer. He closes his eyes. Hoping to god that it's his guardian angel coming to help him. Finally falling into a deep sleep. Dreaming of heaven. After what feels like days Tyson finally awakens on a stranger's bed. Sitting up he looks around in fear. The walls look like the inside of a tree but it seems like a normal room. Tyson gets up and tries to walk but stumbles onto the ground instantly because his legs are weak. His heart is palpitating and his body sweating.)

*Bonnie* You should stay in bed. Your caretaker will be with you in a moment.

(A tall woman is leaning against the doorway looking down at Tyson. Wearing overalls, dyed blue hair, and a rose in her hair.)

*Tyson* Where am I!?

*Bonnie* In my house. You're lucky she found you when she did. You would have died at that spot dude.

(Then out of nowhere Vines sprout from the walls and pull Tyson back onto the bed and strap him down.)

*Tyson* who are you!? What do you want from me?

*Bonnie* I'm a friend for now. My name is Bonnie and my friend and I are trying to help you recover. We've had these abilities for a few months already. That is all I'm saying to you.

*Tyson* who is your friend?

*Lisa* That would be me. Sorry for taking too long I was making him a meal Bonnie.

(An average-height girl the same age as Tyson walks into the room with a tray of tea and food. She is wearing a gray hoodie with a certain band on it, her hair is slightly dyed red but brown at the same time. All Tyson could think about is how beautiful she is.)

*Tyson* That's okay..but what is this place and what do you y'all want?

*Lisa* oh me and Bonnie are both Parasite carriers. We both were captured by that invisible man a few months ago. Now we're in hiding. If we try to leave they always seem to follow us to the area we are around in.

*Bonnie* yeah it's been rough for us... we're hiding in plain sight. This whole place is the inside of a tree.

(Bonnie releases Tyson from her grip allowing Lisa to place the tray of food on Tyson's lap and without a second thought he gorges himself on everything on the tray. His body magically just seems to be fine soon after he finishes his meal.)

*Lisa* so it did work?

*Tyson * what did?

*Lisa* well everyone who has a parasite has a weird thing they have an instinct or symptom when they use up all of their body's energy. Your body is still not used to this sort of thing yet.

*Tyson* That explains everything. I already had to do something I regret. I'll find a way to remove this thing from me.

*Bonnie* You can't. We've tried and nothing works.

*Lisa* plus we can't leave just ye-

*Mysterious voice* I can help take it out, buuut you may not like the outcome.

(Lisa and Bonnie look horrified while Tyson is confused. The voice is coming from the walls but is also echoing throughout the tree.)

*Lisa* Come out! Show yourself!

(The mysterious man slowly comes out the ceiling, head first down to his torso. The ceiling moved around like rippled water. The man has a weird grin on his face.)

*Bonnie* It's him! Ma-

*Mason* Mason is here!!! I've been looking all over for you gals.

(Mason goes back into the ceiling and the walls start to shake. An arm wraps around Tyson's neck, coming straight out of the headboard. Choking him with a tight hold. Tyson tries to break free and struggles to do so. Then out of nowhere a thorn shoots at the arm and it grows into Vines wrapping around the arm and the headboard. Prying Tyson free from Mason's grasp. Soon as Tyson was free he rolled out of bed and got ready for anything possible to come his way.)

*Mason* You're so adorable bonnie. Can you control your powers now??
(His voice echos through the room)

*Tyson* we have you trapped already!

(Tyson pulls onto the arm to try and drag Mason out of the bed. Instead, a mutilated corpse with stone spikes everywhere comes out. Tyson and the girls scream out of shock at what they see. Bonnie vomits at the sight of the man.)

*Lisa* You sick bastard!

*Mason* (wheeze ) (wheeze) That man is so ugly now. Oh, I do love the yells and cries of people. Just sing some more! Yeah yeah!

(A hand comes out of the floor and grabs Bonnie's leg and drags her out of the room. All Lisa and Tyson could hear is her scream of terror. Tyson tries to run after her but Lisa grabs his hand and stops him.)

*Tyson* what are you doing! I need to get out of here! You need to help your friend too.

*Lisa * think about it. He wants us to follow. He wants us to help her. He might have set traps God knows where. We need to organize ourselves In case she doesn't come back.
*Tyson* but..okay.

(Meanwhile, Bonnie is being dragged away into the kitchen. Slamming her into the fridge and retreating away. Bonnie is holding herself while in pain on the ground.)

*Mason* Looks like your friends won't be joining us. Awww they left you to sing all alone.

*Bonnie* No. They just believe that I can kick your ass.
