As Elena nervously watches Bonnie get ready, she tells her what she will do when she enters Mystic Falls in 1864.
Bonnie asks Damon, "Are you sure you want her to do this?". As Elena exclaims, "Bonnie, I'll do that just get me out of there as soon as possible." Damon looks at Elena.
Bonnie sighs and says, "Elena, since you have my blood in your system, I will put a spell that freezes my blood in your body so I can sweep you out after you have stopped Klaus from killing Katherine."
She kisses Damon as he kisses her back, their tongues intertwining, as she walks into the circle of salt Bonnie placed so that she could be transported to 1864.
Bonnie chants words and spells that Elena cannot understand, while her body is swept away.
Elena falls to the ground as she feels leaves in her hands, she looks up and realizes she is in Mystic Falls confused about why she is in the woods and why she is a weird top and clothes she has never seen before.
