Chapter 14

Obito's POV:

the next day....

I woke up at the sound of lightning clapping the ground.

"still going at it huh?" I said sitting up in my bed.

I swung my legs over the side of the bed And was immediately hit with a wave of dizziness as i tried to get up off of my bed.

I felt a sharp sting and burning sensation on my back.

i felt a wave of heat rush over me.

"shit." I muttered understanding that i either got a cold from the rain or my cuts on my back were infected.

I'm no doctor but from the way they feel i'm just gonna take a rough guess.

I turn and look at the clock.

6:45

shit.

School starts in 15 minutes.

"I know i shouldn't be going, but i missed yesterday, and it is only wednesday. If the cut really is infected i'm gonna have to miss school if it gets worse, i don't think my grades can handle that! I will just go to school." I muttered to myself.

I got up off the bed and went into the bathroom.

I splashed some water on my face and brushed my teeth.

I went back to my room and threw on my uniform.

I grabbed my bag and slowly walked down the stairs, I grabbed my umbrella, put my shoes on and was out the door.

The walk to school took about ten minutes and i made it just in time.

When I sat down Deidara immediately gave me a look.

"Dude, you're not gonna puke are you?" He looked at me weirdly.

"No. I just don't feel the best." I said putting my head into my arms.

Minato Sensei walked in the room and shortly began class.

After class when students were packing up their things to go to 2nd period Minato Sensei walked up to me.

"I assume you were out yesterday because you were sick, Have you not fully gotten better?" He said examining my face.

"No, it's just a little cold. I can't afford to miss more school." I said grabbing my bag. 

"Go home Obito. I'll personally vouch for you with the other teachers." He grabbed my arm and walked me out of the classroom.

"I'm also sending Kakashi home I know you two live close i'll give you guys my umbrella you can go together."

"Kakashi? He's sick too?"

"Yeah he's in the nurses office. You can go get him." He handed me the umbrella.

'shit, this is my fault'

I walked down the stairs to the nurses office.

Kakashi was in there sleeping on one of the beds.

His mask was on the table along side his shoes, blazer and tie.

He was spread out under the blanket with his shirt halfway unbuttoned.

His mouth hung open and it looked like he was drooling.

'Cute.' I thought for a moment.

"Wake up." I shook him.

"What?" he asked in a groggy voice opening his eyes.

"We're going home. Minato's orders."

He shot up and stared down at my hand that was holding his bag.

"If you don't believe me you can walk back and ask him. I don't see why you have any reason to though." I said watching him button up his uniform.

"It's fine, I believe you." He got up and walked to the table.

He grabbed his shoes and dropped them to the floor.

He slid his feet in them and pulled on his blazer.

He walked out of the room grabbing his bag from my hand without saying anything.

I grabbed his tie that he left on the table and followed him out.

"Wait." I grabbed his arm and turned him towards me.

"You don't have to be in such a rush." I said wrapping the tie around his neck and tying it.

Kakashi POV:

He continued to stare at me after tying my tie.

'Is there something on my face?' I thought turning back around to keep walking.

"I'm sorry. This is all my fault." I heard his voice say from behind me.

"And how is that?" I turned back around.

"If I hadn't pushed the umbrella on you, None of yesterday would've happened, and you wouldn't be sick." He looked at his feet.

"I'm fine, it's just a little cold, nothing a little rest can't take care of. You are the one with the infected cuts on your back not me." I started walking again.

He opened up the umbrella after we changed into our shoes.

We walked in silence for the whole entire ten minutes it took to get home.

He walked me up to my door and said good bye.

"I dont regret anything that happened yesterday aside from pushing you into the mud." He said as he turned around to walk away.

"I'll see you around Kakashi." He said stepping off of my porch.

It just hit me.

What he didn't regret.

I don't know why I feel like this, but it doesn't feel bad, as a matter of fact I kind of like it.

It's like a high that I want to keep in chasing.

My feet moved quicker than my mind and before I knew it my lips were on his.
