"Don't run away like that! That's how you get lost"
[Streets of Yokohama: Morning]
"Where did he go?" Y/n grumbles taking out her phone to call Ranpo again. He was supposed to be outside the agency, she had gone to get them hot chocolate only to find him missing.
"Y/n-san? Whats wrong?" Atsushi asks the irate woman who was glaring down at her phone.
"Ranpo ran off!" She frowns snapping her phone shut. "In a bear costume no less..."
Atsushi sweat drops at the words, she rolls her eyes pocketing the phone. Freezing in realization, eyes narrowing slightly.
"If I were a bored childish man, where would I go?" She ponders, amusing the weretiger.
"Ah, I know!" She snaps, winking at Atsushi before starting to jog down the street. Atsushi shakes his head with a smile at her happy attitudes since she got together with the detective.

[Kunikida's Jail Cell: The Same Time]
Ranpo waddles in the large costume down the hallways; the blond sat with his back towards the door of the cell. Ranpo felt his phone vibrate again, she's gonna kill me.
"Listen" Ranpo spoke into the silent cell. Kunikida's backs till facing him. The bear costume head muffled his voice slightly. "I'll get you out of here"
Taking off the bear head he huffs out a breath since it was a bit stuffy in there. Gaze serious on the mans back.
"Are you listening to me, Kunikida?" Ranpo inquires narrowing his brows.
"Don't mind me, Ranpo-san" Kunikida answers blankly. "Its only right for a suspect to be detained"
"You're suspected of murder" Ranpo spoke simply, "The girl set off the grenades with her own hands, that's your claim. But there are no witnesses and the evidence was destroyed by the enemy. They even went to the trouble of making sure the grenades matched the model used by the agency"
"You've been framed" Ranpo straightens up a bit, tone serious. "Part of an operation by the Rats. Or rather, a way to harass us that happened to be convenient"
"I..." Kunikida tenses feeling the guilt remembering the explosion and the girls eyes.
"Will you accept the charge out of guilt?" Ranpo inquires tilting his head, "I don't care about your inner conflict. I'm making sure you are found innocent. The Rats have someone who specializes in destroying evidence. We'll capture him"
Ranpo holds out the costume head in front of him turning back towards the corridor.
"I won't let anyone object. Not the Agency or the boss" Ranpo informs.
