THE BASS FROM THE CLUB COULD BE felt from the outside. The line was wrapped around the building, the people eager to get inside and either get drunk or throw cash. From scammers to Instagram models, this was a typical Saturday night for Isari. As much as she hated it, dancing made good money and kept her afloat. The fall semester would be starting in about three months, so money needed to be made for her to pay for classes and finish getting her degree.

Adjusting the two bags on her shoulder, she made her way inside, making a beeline for the locker room. Even though the line was long outside the building, there were way more people inside. Not thinking much of it, Isari figured that someone was hosting or some local rapper was performing since that was usually the case for the increased amount of people.

The locker room was in the very back and once in it, Isari couldn't help the long sigh that left her mouth. There were more people here than usual, so of course, everybody wanted to show up to work and make their fair share of the money. She usually didn't like when so many people were crammed into the building, regardless of whether it was her coworkers or customers.

Isari spoke to some of the girls she was cordial with, asking them how they had been. She wouldn't consider them her friends, but they were in a sense work friends. She had never hung out with them outside of work and that was no hate to them, she just had a lot going on and on top of that, she wasn't one for really going out.

With her makeup already being done, she only sat at her vanity to run a flat iron through the blonde wig she had gotten installed about three days ago. It was pushing ten and she would have to go out on the floor soon, so while the metal tool spread heat throughout the hair, she gave herself her usual pep talk. Regardless of her profession, Isari still had raging social anxiety and was very shy around people. She would definitely be classified as an introvert and she didn't talk much unless she was being spoken to.
