( you and Jenna are going through a rough time but sometimes it's needed to continue moving forward)

No one's POV

Y/n and Jenna are a rollercoaster, they've been arguing and fighting for months. Neither of them knew who actually started this whole thing, all they know is they were tearing apart each others hearts with every hateful word after the next. Each day, growing more and more painful for one another, not being able to staying in the same room for 5 minutes. It's become overwhelming for the pair, they need a break. Neither one of them felt like bringing it up because the outcome could turn into an argument they didn't have the energy for.

Y/n was aimlessly walking around downtown Boston, staring at her feet as they guided her on the paved cement. Her head swarmed with thoughts of her and Jenna, their fights, their bad times, and the good memories. She felt lost, not physically but emotionally drained. She couldn't describe how she was feeling, even if she did go back to therapy, how would she be able to open up about something she can't even put into words. She let out a long sigh finally looking up to see where she was headed. She found herself in Boston common park, there were black painted benches along the sides of the walkway. Autumn leaves scattered everywhere abandoning the trees that are left bare, every other branch still holding on to the thin stems of the brownish red and yellow leaves. Y/n made her way over to a bench to enjoy nature as this time of year rolls by too quickly.

Y/n let her head fall slightly back and she listened to the sounds of squirrels playing and birds chirping. She took in a deep breath through her nose before exhaling slowly out her mouth. Y/n enjoyed her time alone...she used to enjoy her time with Jenna. She opened her eyes staring at the underside of the trees, the sun has just begun setting giving the crystal blue sky an orange and pink tint. She knew it's been hours since she left her apartment, since she last saw Jenna. Part of Y/n wants Jenna to fight for what they have instead of fighting with her. She wants Jenna to say sorry and this whole thing has been a one stupid mistake. She wants Jenna to tell her she loves her and nothing could break them apart...but she knew that'd never happen. Jenna is too proud and ego driven to admit that, probably even to herself.

Y/n felt a tear roll down her cheek and she continued to let her brain wander. Y/n pulled out her phone seeing the time.

7:36pm

She put her phone back into her blue angels jacket pocket. Her black ripped jeans exposing her legs in small areas, allowing the late autumn air kiss the skin. Her hands becoming slightly colder due to the weather, she rubbed them together lightly before standing up. Y/n made her way back down the same path and she took getting there. Each step she took the more she felt herself break, she knew what she needed to do when she got home. She didn't know how she's being the conversation but something needs to be done.

For the next 15 minutes, Y/n walked in silence but her heads never been so loud. She could feel her heart rate quickening with every breath she took. Y/n's palms have become too sweaty for her to keep them in the pockets of her jacket. She shook her head side to side harshly riding all thoughts of backing down, her jaw clenched as she walked up the steps of her apartment building. She pressed the button for her floor, the buzzer went off before unlocking the door allowing Y/n entrance. She made her way to the staircase, needing to walk off her on rising the anxiety. Once reaching her floor the turned the knob of the stairwell door, entering looking in both directions before walking down the hall to her apartment. As she stood at front of the door with keys in her hands, preparing to unlock the locks she stopped. Y/n sworn she heard something, as she leaned her head close to the door pressing her ear against the wood. She heard the sounds again... faintly. Y/n closed her eyes tightly as she listened to the sounds of muffled sobs. Jenna...
