Y/n POV

She smiled at me, slightly showing her dimples as her eyes shined just as bright as her smile. Her brown eyes had a golden tint to them cause of the sun, and her hair was blowing around her face as the wind travelled through her brown locks. Her right hand, very gently hovering on jaw and upper neck, barely putting any pressure on my skin. The sky was multi color with pink, purple, and orange as the sun was turning in for the night.

We were laying on the hood of my car, facing one another. Talking, laughing, and just enjoying each other's presence. I had taken her out for dinner at a vegan restaurant, though I still like chicken and not technically vegan. After eating we left and I decided to take her to my special spot. A spot on a hill looking over Coachella valley, it was so peaceful and not many people came here. It was a perfect view one I could look at all day, now with Jenna here the view became even more surreal. A beautiful girl, with a beautiful scenery...it's like this was her spot not mine like this view belonged to her, with her.

I reached my hand to rest on top of hers, making her hand fully connect with my jaw. She was looking into my eyes with an emotion I never quite seen before on her. Her eyes glanced at my lips a few times before she closed her eyes and let out a brief sigh. I was too glancing between her now closed eyes and her parted lips. I didn't realize I had moved closer to her until she reopened her eyes looking into mine. I realized I had pushed up my upper body with my elbow and leaning over towards Jenna, her hand sliding from my jaw to my neck in my action. We were now only 5ish inches apart, I could feel the heat radiating off of her body and I could feel the breath hitting my lips and chin.

" Y/n..." Jenna's hand grabbed my neck slightly pulling me towards her, however her voice sounded different than her actions. She sounded... scared? Her eyes showed a type of fear but her body is pulling me to her. I swallowed the lump in my throat, I looked at her lips then her eyes.

" Can I kiss you?"

I was nervous because I had never been with a girl before, and I can't tell what she wants me to do. Her body is pulling me close but her eyes and her voice sound undecided. I won't do anything that makes her uncomfortable, I care too much about her.

Jenna was looking between my eyes, her breath was getting kind of heavy. She nodded yes but she still looks unsure. I looked at her for a moment contemplating whether I was going to kiss her or not. I leaned down and I kissed her on the side of her mouth closer to her cheek, it wasn't a peck but it wasn't a super long kiss either. As I pulled back to look at her face, Jenna was blushing. I just smiled glad that I kissed her there instead of kissing her on her lips (though I wanted to).

I looked up from her to the sky seeing that the colors were disappearing and turning dark because the sun was no longer in view.

" So it's getting late, do you want me to drive you-"

I was asking Jenna as I turned back to look at her, her facial expression changed yet again. Her eyes and body portrayed confidence, as she cut me off kissing my lips. I immediately melted into her, our lips fit perfectly together moving in sync. Her hands cupped my face as we kissed, my right hand grabbing her waist and my other hand was her neck pulling her in.

As air was becoming a necessity she pulled back enough that our noses were barely touching. She had her eyes closed, as mine was looking at her trying to read her face. I wanted to make sure that it was okay, that she was okay and we were good. I didn't want to ruin what we have because of a kiss.
