𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮

Chapter 7

Ren woke suddenly in a shake. He scanned his room... Wasn't he just in his nook? He laid back down on his bed, maybe it was just the absence he drank? He rubbed his head, ugh I have such a bad headache.

He heard a knock at the door and grabbed his bracelet with haste. Timidly he asked, "who's there?.." he paused feeling the air go cold. There was no answer. The only ones that should be in the house were him and his dog Hallow. He jumped out of bed, ready to fight.

The knocking continued...

He jumped up out of bed feeling the icy cold floor on his feet. He looked down and there were claw marks all over the floorboards. Did Ren summon something? His head pounded, he winced at the pain of the hangover he was feeling.

Ren creeped over to the door, while he softly chanted the incantation to summon his bracelet. He opened the door and was greeted by a 6'4 demon. The demon was completely nude while holding a platter for breakfast. "Hello," the demon said cheerily.

Ren creeped back.. "Wh-who are you?" He asked while holding his soward. Clearly this demon appeared to be nice to him.

The demon pointed to its chest, it had a black symbol of death. "My name is Chi Kanji, your personal demon. You summoned me last night."

"What?!" Ren dropped his sword as it morphed back into a bracelet. His head pounded the demon kept talking but his head was throbbbng to much. "SHUT UP!" His head started to get swarmed with voiced flooding his mind.

Ren was gasping for air. The demon named Chi walked up to him, placed the platter of breakfast on the bedside table. He picked up Ren swiftly and pressed him into his chest. He was swallding him like a baby. "Shh human, it is going to be okay."

He pushed and shoved but he couldn't escape the demon's grasp. "LET ME GO!" He yelled tossing and turning but Chi's grapes only tightened.

"I shall not release you till your calm master." The demon stared blankly, and then sat on the bed. Chi gently rocked him back and forth. Ren poured but let it happen because clearly struggling only made it worse.

Ren breathed in and out. He rested head against the demons chest he could feel the heat beat the of the beast. The demon was 6'4, he had gray skin his hands black as night that faded into his forearms. The demon had silver hair, it was long. Ren noticed the demon had a long tail. It was thumping against the bed and while thumping it swished left to right.

As Ren's body went limp, Chi's grip losses. And then he released him. Letting Ren's body hit the floor, "OOMF," letting out a hard yelp of pain.

"I apologize," Chi said nicely with a fake smile. He picked him up again and this time nicely placed him on the bed. Then he placed the player of food on him.

Chi smiled at Ren who looked suspicious of the food. "What are you? What is your purpose?" Ren said getting out of the bed, he was sick of being picked up like he weighed nothing.

As Chi's tail gently wrapped around Ren's waist, he pulled him in. Grasping his hand at Ren's lower back, he softly whispered, "Ah silly human, you summoned me and we made a pact. We are soul bonded. "

Ren struggled to get out of the demon's grasp. But the demon didn't seem to give any sign of letting go of him. He held on tightly the demon's hand lingered up to Ren's hair pulling it.

"As a demon of higher class, I would normally not accept a simple minded human offer. But when I saw you, you smelled delicious. You see here I feast off of the weaknesses and the powers of the human. I feed off it all. Your smell is different. It reminded me of a human I once had a soft spot for."

Ren was struggling to wrap his head around this news, his knees were going weak, like the demon is feasting on him right now. The only thing holding him up was the demons tail, Ren's hand brushed the tip of the tail and the demon stopped talking.

"Oh?" Ren said, the demon looked flustered. Ren gently stroked the tip of the demons tail up and down...

The grip of the tail loosen and the demon darted out of the room. "Weird demon..."

Ren looked down at the food the demon brought him. It had burnt and yet raw looking food on the plate. Great a demon that can't cook, well I am going to have to send him back. As Ren thought to himself, he heard banging down stairs.

While rushing down the stairs he got a peak of what was waiting for him. The demon is making more of a mess in Ren's kitchen. "You need to leave." Ren stared blankly at the mess in the kitchen.

The demon who whirled around to look at him. "I am afraid I can't, I was summoned to help you heal and in return I get food and shelter. " Chi summoned a contract that was floating above his hands. Ren snatched it, and continued to examine the page.

"Oh fuck.." he said it stated right there he was in a soul bond with this demon...
