(Y/N)'s POV
I have no idea where he plans on going for the date, I've never seen this path that he's taking. He let me choose the music for the ride there so the whole drive so far has just been me jamming out to music. After about 30 minutes of drive we pulled up to this fancy place called Il Cielo. I've never heard or seen this place before but it looked really really fancy. We pulled up to the valet, Colby got out and walked over to my door, he then opened my door and took my hand. He handed the keys to the Valet. He wrapped his elbow around mine and we walked inside. Colby talked to the host and then she led us to our seats.
"So? What do you think?" Colby asks
"This place looks really nice, i'm surprised you got a reservation" I say in awe
"Anything for you (y/n), anything for you" he says with a cheesy smile
I giggle a little bit at his comment but before I can say anything the server comes over and greets us.
"Hello! I hope you both are having a great night so far. What can I get for drinks? May I also recommend our Chardonnay, It goes great with our selection of homemade authentic Italian food!" The server says with a smile
"Ill take a glass of Chardonnay" I say with a smile
"I will also take a glass!" Colby replies in agreement
the server nods and walks away. We start looking over the menu. After a couple minutes of looking I decided I was going to get the TORTELLI DI BURRATA.
"Hm after seeing everything I think i'm gonna get the Tortelli Di Burrata" Colby says stuttering on the pronunciation
"No way! I was thinking the exact same thing!" I saw shocked
"Mhmm i'm sure copy cat" Colby says sarcastically
"Noooo I swear I was thinking it" I say back
"whatever you say, but you have to order it... since it was my idea" He responds
I shake my head and giggle at him. At that exact moment the server walked over with our glasses.
"There you both are, Have you had a chance to figure out what you would like to eat?" The server says after setting down the drinks
"Yeah we have! We'll both take the Tortelli Di Burrata!" I say with a confident smile
"Perfect! I'll be back with those dishes in no time" She says with a smile before turning and walking away
I turn to look at Colby and he was already staring at me.
"What?" I ask confused
"Nothing, nothing, just didn't know you spoke Italian so well" He saws in shock
I giggle and say "I just took a guess and I suppose it was a good guess"
We make small talk for a bit before the server walks back over with our plates. She tells us to enjoy and walks away with a smile. We finish our food talking in between bites.
"That was amazing" I say finishing my last bite
"Im in complete agreement" Colby says wiping his mouth with his napkin
The server walks over almost promptly.
"Are we ready for the check or would we like desert tonight?" The server says while taking our plates
"I think we are ready for the bill" Colby says with a smile
She nods her head and pulls out the check, Colby hands her his card, she takes it and walks away. A minute later she comes back and sets his card and the receipt down.
"Have a great night!" She says before walking away
Colby and I stood up from our chairs and started walking towards the exit. Once we got outside Colby talked to the valet and a minute later the guy returned with our car. Colby opened my door for me before getting in himself. He stared driving.
"So are we headed back home?" I say looking over at him
"not quite we have one more stop" He says with a grin
After driving for a bit we pulled into what looked like a state park. He grabbed a bag from his car and then started leading me to a clearing. We got to a space surrounded by trees but more open. He opened his bag and pulled out a blanket, he threw it on the ground and then pulled out a small pillow and another blanket. He laid down on the blanket with the pillow under his head. I laid down using his chest as my pillow. He put the blanket over us and we stared at the sky while talking for a bit. After about an hour Colby decided it was time to head home. We packed up and headed back to the car. The drive home was basically silent but me and Colby were holding hands. I smiled to myself taking note of how nice this moment was. When we got back the house was eerily silent, almost like no one was home.
"Weird everyone must've went to bed early tonight" Colby says
"I guess" I say shuffling closer to him
I think he could tell I was a bit creeped out, so he put his arm around me and we walked to his room.
"I'm going to hop in the shower and get cleaned up" Colby says turning away from me
"Wait, Could I possibly join you? I don't want to be alone in here" I say stopping him
he chuckles and turns back around
"Yes (y/n) you can join me" He says grabbing my hand and bringing me closer
I get a little nervous when he pulls me close but I embrace it
"God you are so gorgeous" He says before looking away
We walk to his bathroom, he starts to get undressed, I try to avoid looking at him while taking my hair out of a bun and wiping my makeup off. He got into the shower first peeking at me occasionally to see my progress. Once I finished I joined him in the shower. When I entered I was greeted with a smile and his rosy red cheeks.
"Glad you decided to finally join me" He says smiling at me
I giggle and say "Whatever just hand me the soap"
He laughs while handing me the soap. It was a quick shower and once we were done he threw on a pair of boxers and then he handed me one of his shirts and another pair of his boxers. We then walked to his bed and cuddled up close to each other. my head was in his shoulder nook and he had his arm wrapped around me and he was running his fingers through my hair.
"Thank you for an awesome night Colby... That seriously was the most fun I've had in awhile" I say while i'm about to go to sleep
"You deserve it (y/n) you really do. If I could get you the world I would in an instant" Colby says before kissing my forehead
I smile to myself as I doze off to sleep.
