Is there an awkward situation? Is there a barrier keeping things from you and a person?

Ignore it. If you don't make it exist, it won't. They'll just go with it because they don't want to be awkward. If they cringe and make it showy, pretend you're dumb and don't notice. They won't know otherwise and after you get across normally, they'll just continue going with it.. because they're insecure and who knows.. maybe they were wrong!

Do you have fear? The kind that cripples, cringes, and disables you?

Ignore it. Why does it matter if you're scared? That's a minor detail and it's not going to affect whatever you are going to do, because you're going to do it anyway.. because that's what you're doing. Fear is just there, it doesn't control you. Who cares about it?

If you just do it, you'll look brave and perhaps intimidating. They'll be surprised.

If you wait to say it.. time goes on. Too late is a thing. The longer you wait the worse it gets.. the harder to talk, the awkwarder, the worse.

Nike, just do it. :)

Stay composed under high stress. Act like you understand the situation and know what you're doing (Fake it til you make it! ;)) It's fine if you don't-- talk and act slowly if it helps, but make sure that your point is let across. No doubt your adrenaline will be through the roof but that doesn't mean you can't do it.

If it fails miserably.. eye contact is a miraculous thing. Don't be like them, talking bad and acting bad. Be patient but go quickly. As soon as you have the vaguest chance rush for it. Go before you can overthink it. You have words so use them wisely. You have skill and you have peace and patience and calmness.
