Malaria

Malaria is a disease caused by a plasmodium parasite, and is caused by mosquito a bite. Once Malaria enters the body it rapidly goes to the liver in a half-hour. The parasite rapidly reproduces in the liver a forms multiple parasites in the host. The parasite will make itself to the blood stream where it will attach itself to blood cells and enters, reproducing once more. The reproducing continues and begins to cause Malaria's symptoms, that being fevers, chills, and sweating. Malaria has become more and more treatable overtime. But Malaria's severity is based off of what type of plasmodium parasite you are infected with. The infection (malaria) has killed 300 million people over it's time, killing more than the Bubonic Plague which reached 200 million. Malaria is fatal if not treated and noticed quickly, vaccines have been developed.
