It was a pretty normal day in the Paldea region. You had fought all of the gym leaders and Team Star leaders + Penny so you had nothing to do. That was, until you got an idea. You remembered the Arven needed help with the Titans and Herba Mysticas. After the idea popped up in your head, you grabbed your things and ran through the door and rode on Miraidon to your first location.
\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\
As you made it to your destination, you saw Arven run to the same place.
"Hey Arven!" You shouted.
"Hey Y/N!" He shouted back with a small blush.
You couldn't help but stare at his face for a little while. You see, Arven was your crush when you first got to know each other, but little did you know that Arven had felt the same way about you. You both kept staring at each other's eyes until Miraidon nudged you to pay attention. You snapped back into reality and fought the first Titan together.
During the fight, Mao Mao had gotten really hurt and your other Pokémon were really hurt as well. Arven took note of this and spoke.
"You heal up your Pokémon, I'll deal with it for now." He said reassuringly.
"Thanks Arven." You spoke.
After healing your team up, Arrow and Arven's Toadscruel had taken the kill. After preparing a picnic and the Herba Mystica, Miraidon had gone out of its ball and wanted to eat your sandwich. You let it eat it and now it could high jump.
After a few more hours of fighting Titans and letting Miraidon eat your sandwiches, you asked why he was doing this.
"I'm doing this for a special friend of mine..." He said, spacing out.
"Who is it?" You spoke with curiosity.
After you said that, Arven pulled out a Poke ball and he let out a very tired looking Mabostiff.
"This is Mabostiff, one of my closest friends in the entire Paldea region."
Soon after he said that he started explaining why he was on a journey for the Herba Mysticas. At the end of the explanation, you were on the verge of tears. He saw this and wiped the tears away from your E/C eyes.
"Please don't cry." He spoke.
"I can't help it, it's so sad..." You said in a fake sobbing voice.
Thankfully, the Herba Mystica sandwich worked and Mabostiff was able to play like a small Maschiff. As your Pokemon played with Arven's team, he looked at your face.
You were so perfect. Your laugh, your smile, and everything about you was perfect. He just wanted to kiss your face and cuddle you.
"Uhm hey, Arven, are you okay?" You asked.
"Uh- yeah, sorry about that..." He apologized.
"Is there something you need to tell me?" You spoke.
"Actually, yeah, there is."
"Well, what is it?"
"I... I really like you; do you like me back?" He said with a soft voice.
Without another word, you pressed your faces together and stroked his hair.
"Does that answer your question?"
"Yes, it does. Thank you, I love you."
And for the rest of the night, you two just cuddled and watched your guys' Pokémon play with each other.
You two were perfect.
