"Charles" Beatrice called her husband as Charles is done talking to Julius, Beatrice waiting for her in their bedroom
"Hey" Charles stated as he made his way to Beatrice.
Beatrice started crying and her husband hugged her. "Our baby" she cried, "I don't want her to suffer Charles! I don't want that to happen! What if something happens to her? Curse activation? What if this curse will kil-"
"Calm down sweetheart" Charles stated in his gentle voice and kissed his wife on her head. "We will not let her suffer from this okay? We will find someone who will help lift the curse"
The next day, the Roselei house focused on renovating the house and the town from the damage of sudden attack by witch. Since then, the Roselei house was anxious about the possibility of sickness or the curse activation of the curse of their daughter.
They met many healers but no one knows how to lift or remove it. One night, on their way home almost giving up for that day looking for the healer, they stumbled on an old man as they made there way to Hage.
"That little girl, have a protector" an old man said pointing to baby Charlotte "she made a deal with a devil, a very powerful one! I can feel it!"
"What do you mean she made a deal with a devil? She's just one years old" Charles argued.
"That devil will be her shadow, will follow her orders and more. Making a deal with a devil have an associated change, she will give her soul to the devil when she died." the old man stated seriously.
"How?" Beatrice replied "she was cursed will that do something? What if the day the curse will activate? I can't lose her yet" Beatrice panicked.
"Are you looking for a healer? Her curse can't be healed, the curse will judge her fate and future" the old man stated after.
"How did you know?" Charles questioned.
"I can see the future, time magic is a very rare here, but because I'm a peasant and foreigner, nobles didn't believe in my powers" the old man replied.
"Time Magic!?" Charles exclaimed
"Will she-?" Beatrice asked.
"She will be fine, as long as you let her do what she wants. No matter what happens, you will protect her together with the shadow she shad. Her future is beautiful"
Charles and Beatrice were both out of words, they really don't believe this , but a small part of them believe what the old man said.
They pray that Charlotte will really have a beautiful future.
