Tyler's POV

Later that night-

"Turn on the radio!" Troye whined while reaching for the volume knobs. I slapped his hand violently, restricting him.

"Ah ah ah, my car, my rules." I scoffed, giggling slightly at Troye's pout beside me.

"What do you not listen to music anymore?" He groaned, resting his head on the window.

"Excuse me Mr. Sivan as I recallI am driving you in my car to my house and as of that I do have specific rules. When I am driving at night on the freeway I prefer it to be quiet so I can focus." I placed two hands on the steering wheel in front of me and watched the road intently. It was late yes, but I did have Troye in the car with me again. So every time my eyelids drooped, I thought of the fun things we will be doing this weekend. My thoughts were interrupted from a sudden movement at my right. Troye reached quickly towards the radio to press the on button. I jerked all my weight to stop him from doing so until I heard a small squeal come from the tires and a swerve of the car. Seconds later my car was lifted into the air and put into a rolling motion on its side. Screams, crunching metal and bones, and the taste of blood followed. The insides of the car closed in around me and Troye, crushing our legs and ribs. A slight jerk forward threw my head at the radio resulting in complete darkness.

"Get the defibrillator John! The brunette's not breathing and has no pulse!" Voices and sirens wailed in my head. My eyes slowly opened to small creases, but allowed me to see the red and blue lights of an ambulance.

"Fuck! He isn't waking up! Get an oxygen mask stat!"

I couldn't really feel any pain, I mean besides the throbbing from my forehead I felt fine. My glasses were nowhere in sight as well, so my sight wasn't one hundred percent.  A woman finally came to my aid with an IV and multiple tools.

"Sir are you okay? Are you in pain? If you can't talk, blink once yes blink twice no." The woman soothed while sticking the IV in my wrist.

"3, 2, 1!" A shock sound came from beside me, but I couldn't turn my head.

Forgetting immediately what I was trying to see, I tried to speak but only a small croak came through and the taste of blood arose in my mouth almost as if my saliva had been replaced by it. My throat began to ache and I was finally beginning to come to my senses. My eyes burned, legs stung, head throbbed, throat ached, and my nose stuffed. "Okay.. okay.. okay Julie you got this, you got this. Uhm, remember what I said about the blinking thing? Yeah do that and don't talk!" She motioned towards the distance, probably to summon a stretcher. I blinked once with teary eyes and came to realization that Troye was missing. "Okay sir don't move, we are going to lift you onto this stretcher." I pursed my lips into a small smile to show an okay signal, but as the moments went by I began to get more and more worried about Troye.

"Sarah he's been gone for 2 minutes! We can't bring him back now!" A man yelled in the distance. Is he talking about Troye? The Troye I got in this mess?

"It's not too late. It's not too late." The woman named Sarah said with shaky breathes. Constant shocking sounds followed. Oh my fucking god. They're trying to revive Troye.  He's dead and I am alive. Tears welled in my eyes, adding on to the past ones. Multiple escaped and dripped down my cheek. The nurse named Julie came back to me and with her many others.

"1, 2, 3 and lift!" Seconds later I was risen and laid onto a bright yellow stretcher and rolled towards the ambulance ahead. With enough force I was able to turn my head to the left just enough to see Troye still lying on the pavement. Physically he looked okay; there were no obvious injuries besides the pool of crimson red blood he was laying in. Did they wake him up yet? My question was answered when the nurse aided Troye sat back down beside him with the defibrillator in both hands. I couldn't watch as the nurse shocked him so I turned my head, neck cramping. An oxygen mask was immediately placed on my mouth and nose, helping my difficulty of breathing while the doors behind me slammed shut with a loud thud.

"We only need two people with this one." I could overhear them talking about me from the front of the truck. "As for the brunette we couldn't-" The conversation was interrupted by a loud roar of the truck starting and beginning to move. They couldn't what? What couldn't they do to Troye that they did to me? No, no, no, no, I need to know if he is okay.... I need to know. Hyper with adrenaline I began to wiggle in my stretcher and attempted to yell Troye's name in the oxygen mask. I can't lose him, not again.  The nurses sitting in the back scattered around me checking my pulse and trying to calm me.

"Sir please calm down your blood levels are raising too high!" One of the nurses scolded. I glanced at her nametag, which read "Sandra Bich." Ha, perfect last name for what I was going to say to her later. After my blood levels went back to normal, my eyelids began to droop and drowsiness took over me.  Before I went out, one of the nurses came up to me again. It was Julie!

"P.S. I'm sure this Troye kid you're talking about is fine!" She winked and continued. "Probably waiting for you at the hospital too! Oh how cute..." I got lost in her words and began to finally drift off. Little did she know.... oh how little she knew.
