02:22AM, Spotify + headphones and making fun of ridiculous news articles was practically the highlight of your day at this point. I mean, who could really blame you? With the recent drama going on, you simply had to be updated.
Drama was fun, only when you weren't involved though. You could inhale drama like a drug addict when you weren't involved, it was a full time job at this very point.
However, the one type of drama you absolutely devoured was the overdramatic news articles that could somehow make things such as graffiti seem like nuclear bomb attacks from a neighboring country.
I mean come one, they were so ridiculous it was just so laughable. They were, basically asking for it with titles like, "TEENS DEMOLISH WALL BY DOING INSANE GRAFFITI ALL OVER IT" I mean, chill out people.
So that was pretty much your life honestly, shitposting on Twitter, making fun of ridiculous news articles, Spotify 25/8, staying up all night
It was pretty chill actually, however one thing that had now began bothering you was the fact that, the news articles were flooded with a bunch of mafia stuff. Like come on, way to ruin your entertainment with old boring stuff, woohoo. I mean seriously, who wants to read about some green dudes sick ass mafia and their terrorizing your area? Certainly not you.
And yet, your best friend, f/n, seemingly gobbled those news up. They, for whatever reason, believed it all so much. They were practically destroying their own routine and rotting inside all day due to the fear of getting ganged up on if they left their residence.
Ridiculous, is what it was to you. Mafias had been a big problem around your area and neighboring areas yet honestly, the police was beyond useless when it came to such matters. Nothing bad would happen as much on like, main roads and such however, usually, it all went down in shady dark alleyways, not like the police would care if it happened on main roads considering they'd do nothing anyway.
But really, the police had been dead silent since this mafia began gathering lots of people and everything, the police was basically cowering with fear worse than most people, cowards, they were in your opinion. What a shame they were supposed to make sure society functioned properly and people obeyed the law, they couldn't even leave their own homes in fear of the warzone outside.
