Parrot

Sally and I went around the school looking for Tricia. We searched every nook and cranny but she was no where to be found. We then decided to look for Franca thinking she would be with her. But we found Franca all alone and she too didn't know where she was.
                    At this point, Sally thought someone had told Tricia we were looking for her so she skipped school but that was questionable considering Sally said no one else knew about her lies. We tried calling her but the call didn't go through. What could have possibly happened to Tricia now. We would have continued looking for her but the bell went off and we had to head to our respective classes.

             I was on my way to launch when my shirt got stuck on something. I thought it was a door so I yanked hard but all that happened was someone giving a loud yelp. I turned to see what it was and apparently, the shirt hadn't gotten stuck on a door but rather someone's bag. It belonged to a guy who I was sure I'd seen before.
          “I'm terribly sorry." I apologized.
             “I didn't know it'd been your bag,I thought it was a door."
                 He looked at me for a few seconds before saying “It's fine,it happens. "
                He then smiled at me and went his way. I stood there looking at him not realizing he'd play a big part in my life.
                I was about to head for biology class when the bell rang. That was odd. It had already rung for period change. It was probably a mistake. But then I heard the principal's voice from the speakers.
         “ All seniors are to report to the Auditorium right away."
                  “There is an important announcement that has to be made." I wondered what it was that had to be so important for them to call an emergency meeting.
           I turned around and started to head towards the Auditorium just like all my other fellow seniors were doing. The Auditorium had been arranged with lots of chairs for us to sit in and the principal was up at the podium waiting for us to settle down.
            “ Everyone take your seats!"commanded the Principal.
                Just like that all the noise faded out. Then she gave us some of the most saddening news of our lives.
