Lying on the bedroom couch, my eyes wide open felt heavy and tired but devoid of any sleep .
Continuously staring at the ceiling never felt so filling.
As if the world stopped for the time being.
The sight of empty beer bottles scattered everywhere in the room , welcomed the thought of her yelling at me for creating such mess, unknowingly brought a smile to my face.
Yet those tears never stopped falling.
Oh, how I wish to change that day .
Why would things turn this way ?
What should I do to make things right ?
Never knew when these thoughts got engulfed in the darkness of my closing lids.

Though it's my off today , still there's no time to waste . Preparing everything on our own is such a hassle. Wish I accepted her suggestion to hire helpers. Dummy me .
I should check on her upstairs. It's unrealistically quiet now.
I headed upstairs only to find her sleeping soundly on our bed .
Seriously, this is just too much , Su-eon .
I dragged her down the bed, holding her feet. Resulting in her yelp and landing on her butt.
"Good , finally you are awake. Do you have any idea what date is today. Or do you even remember what were you suppose to do while you fell asleep?"
Dammit, this sleepy head is such an ass pain.
Jerking her, I said,"Hey, wake up . It's already 1 pm , we have to get things done by 5 . "
" What the hell , what's your problem? Who in the world wakes their wife like this?"
Says the one who slept while I was working my ass off.
" Look, who's saying. As far as I remember, it was you who suggested celebrating our anniversary in a grand way. Now get that ass of yours to work. I'm downstairs if you need anything. "
Right when I reached the door, I turned to see her dozing along the bed post.
Pinching her cheeks, I said, "And don't you dare to doze around. I am sure you wanna look pretty today. It's up to you to make that time . Hurry up. We have 3 hours in hand . Let's make our day memorable for life . Buck up, jagi."
After kissing her forehead, I left her there.

Frightened and shocked, I opened my eyes . Breathing heavily, I looked around to find myself in that empty dreaded room.
As I wiped my face, I found fresh tears on my cheeks .
Chuckling , " So these tears won't leave me , even in sleep." And headed towards washroom to freshen up and get ready for office.
With a growling stomach, I sat in the car to find keys missing.
Sighing , this has become a long-time habit now.
Starting the car, I headed for my office.
