cassie

another bottle, another sorrow faded away, but she was falling, falling hard

i had to find ziggy, we had to get out of here, i am so busted.

calum had fixed an icy cold glare in my direction, sending shivers through me, my reckless, party hard attitude fading away as the time went. i had to get away from here, fast.

"uh.. well.. WOW! look at the time, half past midnight. time flies when youre having fun." i tapped my non existent watch on my wrist and chuckled nervously, starting to walk past him.

"not so fast, cassandra." he said grumpily, using my full name to intimidate me.. and it worked. he grabbed me by the forearm, a rush of memories flooding through my mind at a simple touch.

"i need to find ziggy, cal, shes lost and you know she doesnt fit in here.." i said, half using it as an excuse to get away from him.

his grip tightened for a few seconds before he dropped his hand.

"stay away from the 'cute' bartender, cass" he says with no sarcasm in his tone as he walks away, i watch him leave, a knot in my stomach as tight as the grip that lingered dangerously on my arm.

though all of this happened, one thought remained.

where the hell could ziggy have gone off to?
