Beep Beep Beep Beep

A hand hits the top of the digital clock, the body gets up to reveal their messy scarlet hair. Akane gives a big yawn and goes to the bathroom to do her daily morning routine. The shower water is cold.. Dad must have forgotten to turn on the heater. She signs. Getting out of the bathroom, she changes into her school uniform and grabs the egg sandwich that was prepared by her mom before. She grabs her phone to watch some videos online while eating, scrolling down the most popular videos tag, she raises a brow.

"There's nothing but those mysterious superheroes again... This is getting annoying.." She thinks to herself

Right when the clock goes 6 o'clock. She opens the front door and walks to school.

Ever since she has to tutor the loser of the class, she made a routine to write down the days she tutored him on her calendar, it helps her to notice the days he didn't stay to study, she takes getting high scores extremely serious. Weird. She looks into her calendar, for the past 2 weeks, the first week was her tutor streak with zero break day, but right on the second week, he has been skipping her lessons. It's always family "problems" or just "sudden" change of work shifts.. Akane is getting suspicious.

Today's excuse of skipping is another family problem, something about his father wants him to help cleaning the family's temple. This guy's family is really a pain in her ass. Right when he runs out of the class, leaving her alone again, she decides to go on a little investigation. This guy was bullied a lot when he came back to school, what happened to all of those bullies in the past days? She goes to the group chat of the whole class and texts to that one girl who always know the tea around the school.

"Hey"

"Oh hi, wassup?"

"You know Kenshi, right?"

"That one-eyed freak? Yeah"

"What happened to him?"

"You don't know about his shit? You lived under a rock or something?!" surprised emoji

It took that girl a while to give Akane a respond

"So like, you know Tsumugi Kutsuki's story? She was the school's 2-year-streak-champion swordswoman and she's Kenshi's older sister. Everyone loved her and admired her. Until one day, that fuck Kenshi killed her, probably out of jealousy, because they were both into swordsmanship. They said he sliced her right through the stomach and she died immediately. Then his family disowned him and he lives all alone now. Personally, I wish he could just die already, can't believe a murderer like him is still walking so casually in the open like that!"

"Really now?"

"Yeah~"

That little rat lied to her. Her face goes red from anger, veins growing on her hand. Right at that moment, she grabs her bag and goes home. At home, after dinner, she does her usual extra studies after homework but she can't get herself to focus on the work, the thought of Kenshi running off with his friends and looking back at her, giving her the middle finger makes her blood boils. She can't just let that rat gets away scot-free, he will pay for lying to her.

Lying on her bed, she opens the group chat to find that girl again, although she's really mad right now, she's still curious about those bullies.

"Hey, have to ask another thing. Kenshi had bullies before, what happened to them?"

"? Those girls? Idk. Heard that they're in therapy or sth after the school gym incident."
