"Daydream Believer" William Afton X reader

"Y/n, we are going to be late!" You heard Henry shout from downstairs; he was your uncle, but you considered him more like a father. You slipped your shoes on and said, "Coming!" You dash downstairs. when Henry saw you going down the stairs, he got in the car and started it while you sat down, fastening your seat belt. You entered the diner, and Henry spoke to you before heading to his office. "Go to William's office; today he'll show you how the suits work." "Great..." you thought. You didn't hate Will, but he could get annoying from time to time, especially if he wasn't in a good mood.

 You headed to Afton's office, and while walking, you glanced at the posters and drawings made by kids that were placed on the walls. You found some of them oddly scary, maybe it was just the way the kids drew and you overlooked it. You knocked on Afton's door, waiting for a response. "Come in." A deep voice with a British accent was heard from inside. You slowly opened the door, and there he stood. He had his feet on the table until you came in and he put them down. He was reading a book called "Pet Sematary by Stephen King." The new book that had been released this year, He closed the book and put it in a drawer with his walkman, which you hadn't even noticed he had until that moment. "Excuse my manners." He fixed his posture in a professional manner. "What were you listening to?" Your curiosity took over you. "Sports album by Huey Lewis and the News—" He knocked on his table before continuing. "Like 'em?" He asked you back, and you nodded in response. "So." He started taking out a notebook and looking through its pages. "What are you here for?" He gave you a quick glance before returning to his note book. "Henry told me that you were going to show me how to use the Springlock suits." You put your hands in your pockets; you weren't really used to talking to people. 

"I suppose I am," He stood up with a smile on his face, approaching you, he put his hand on your back, and motioned for you to follow him out of the office. As you made your way down the hallway  you took notice of his dark blue eyes that were so pale that they nearly appeared grey . You weren't sure if his small pupils were the result of his eyes or if they were really small. "Staring is very rude," He gave you a quick look before moving on. You were quite taken back by the situation, which made you feel extremely embarrased. You felt intimadated by him because he was taller than you.

"We are here." He opened the door for you, letting you in as he turned the lights on. "Before anything, don't touch that suit; it's mine, and I don't want anyone's hands on it." He pointed at the yellow rabbit animatronic that stood there staring into space. "I'll show you first what a springlock is." He approached the yellow bear and took its head off with little to no effort. "So, you see these metal things?" He lifted the fur of the head, showing you some bolts. You watched in silence, but nodded so he'd know you were paying attention. "Well, you'll need to crank them to load back the spring locks; make sure it's loaded tight so there aren't any accidents." He crancked the springlocks, you watched them slowly pull back the metal parts, and William then unscrewed Fredbear's eyes and replaced them with plastic ones with mesh in the iris and pupil so that people could see out of them if they wore it. "sadly The performer eyes of Bon Bun broke, allowing the children to see the eyes of the person wearing him." You were quite confused since you didn't recognise the name. "Who's Bon Bun?" William looked at you with a serious look then realised. "Oh, sorry, Bonnie. I named it Bon Bun, but Henry preferred Bonnie." He continued talking and showing you for almost an hour until he was done. "You think you could do it?" he asked you. "I believe I can." He placed Fredbear's head on the table and walked away. "Get ready to receive customers." He paused to look at his Rolex and then spoke again. "We are opening in 10 minutes." He was gone as fast as he finished saying that.

This was your second day working at Fredbear's, but you still felt nervous as if it were your first. You prepared some tables and cleaned a few things while the rest of the workers entered the place and prepared for the day. You headed to Henry's office and knocked on his door; when you heard him reply, you entered. "Henry, what do I have to do for my shift today?" He looked up at you. "You'll have to wear Fredbear; we have a birthday party today." Henry noticed your concern. "That deadly machine!? I'll get crushed to death!" you explained. "Don't worry, the suits have never failed before. I'm sure you'll be fine. Besides, it's your first day, so someone will help you put it on. Now, I think you should get going. I can already hear children." He adjusted his glasses as you walked away, and he was correct; there were kids everywhere. You had to be careful walking, or you'd kick some random kids who were walking— no, not walking, but running. You walked into Parts & Service and saw Afton waiting for you, "What took you so long?" He was rather mad. "I was talking with Henry, and he got carried away. I'm sorry." As you said the last part, he sighed. "Look, it's all right, put the legs first." he handed you Fredbear's legs, which had some elastic straps made so that if someone wore him, the legs wouldn't just slip off because he was so massive after all, Afton then handed you the upper part, and you put it on. You waited until Afton put on Bonnie; he was faster than you because he had more experience. He took a bow, then left the room. All the children cheered when they saw him. You exited the room, and the same happened for you, but they were clearly more excited for Bonnie.

You looked at Afton and couldn't recognise him, and it wasn't because he was wearing Bonnie But because he acted happier and more cartoonish, you found it quite wholesome, especially how kids went running to hug him, Some kids approached you and took photos with you, but it was nothing compared to Afton. He went your way and guided you to a place that didn't have too many children so you could talk without their knowing. "Y/N, I need help. I feel some of the springlocks are loose." You took his hand to help him go safely to Parts & Services. He took Bonnie's head off when you closed the door. He sat down, and when he did, you heard a snapping sound followed by his screaming. "CALL AN AMBULANCE!" He screamed before more snapping sounds were heard, and you quickly took off the Freadbear suit and went to Henry's office to tell him about what happened because you didn't have a phone. You quickly entered the office. "Henry, call an ambulance! springlocks, will-" Everything turned black before you could finish, you fainted as the image of the blood soaking through the suit's fur came back into your mind. You woke up in your room, and as you were getting up, you decided to go downstairs to look for Henry. He was sitting on the couch, watching TV and reading newspapers while drinking coffee. "You're finally awake." He looked at you, fixing the position of his glasses. "Henry, You wouldn't believe it, I had this weird dream where Mr. Afton had gotten springlocked, and when I went to tell you, I fainted." you explained to him, his face slowly turning into a worried one. "Unfortunately, that wasn't a dream, William is seriously injured, and they're performing surgery on him right now. the wounds will leave scars on him, and I just hope he's okay." henry took a sip of his coffee, you found it always extrange cause you believed Henry saw Afton like someone that was more than just a friend but you really didn't wanna make asuptions. "When will we be able to see him?" you inquired, taking a seat next to Henry. "Well... probably tomorrow morning, the diner will be closed until William has fully recovered," you agreed, nodding.
