October 25th 1975
It's been a month since the letters arrived and it would soon be time again. But it was October, which meant they were too busy partying then. And on top of all, they have announced a Quidditch game on October 31st. Slytherin vs Gryffindor.
Dorcas, Regulus, and Barty, all made it into the team and nothing would stop them from playing against the Potters. They trained harder than before this week.
"Hey, little star!" a familiar voice called Lilith. She stopped in her tracks to turn around. It was Barty calling her. Only Barty. She proceeded to go down the stairs.
"Hey, I know you heard me." Barty was picking up his pace, falling into step with her.
"I did."
"Then, why didn't you wait?" He tried to stop her. Tried to catch her glance.
"I didn't want to." She walked faster. He easily kept up with her. It annoyed her.
"You're pretty mean, you know?" The blonde opened her mouth, but Barty was faster. "You probably know," he answered himself, " I just wanted to ask if you want to come by and watch our practice today?"
Lilith stopped walking. She considered and then "Why?"
"Why not? I mean, three of your friends play."
"Actual-" she started, but Barty interrupted her again. "Yes, I consider myself your friend and I won't tolerate you saying I'm not, because that's a lie."
She kept quiet.
"So?" He asked, his eyes growing big.
"So what?" Lilith began walking again. Barty followed, walking backward.
"Are you coming?"
"Sure" "Dorcas and Regulus want you to come as well. They'd be happy- wait, what did you say?" They halted.
"I said sure." Lilith had a blank expression. She then walked away, alone. When she was sure he didn't follow, her face changed into a confused one.
Barty, on the other hand, smiled, looking to the ground before he set off to the Quidditch field.

In the afternoon, Evan, Pandora, and, as promised, Lilith went down to the Quidditch field.
"He asked you personally to come?" Evan asked."Yes, I already told you."
"It still seems weird to me. Why would he? It's not like it's even your house playing," Evan reminded them. He wasn't much of a fan himself, but at least he was a Slytherin.
"Maybe because our dear friends are playing. They have fun doing this, so I think we should support them. And you, Lilith, are never here to do such a thing," Pandora threw in.
Lilith took offense. "I have watched a few games, mind you."
"And doing this means flying around, catching, throwing, and beating balls. And for what? To impress ladies," Evan complains.
"Are you jealous?" Lilith questioned.
"No, I just hate sports."
They went up the tribune and sat down in a corner so they could be by themselves. Evan has brought Bertie Botts with him. After repeated asking, he shared with the girls. The training began and Lilith was glad she knew the positions of her friends because she knew where to look at. They were fast. All of them.
Today, even Regulus was training with them. Being the seeker, his full attention was on the Golden Snitch. He didn't necessarily train with the others, but his ambition led him to it. He wanted - needed- to defeat his brother.
