Recap:

"She is also a fierce warrior as well. She does not show it much." I said with a bright smile and continued," She is also known for being the best swimmer here. She can help us."

I turned and yelled Y/n to come over. She stopped her singing and looked towards me. I gestured to the newcomers and she nodded and started swimming to us.

Y/n continues to swim until she reaches everybody. Once she reaches Aonung pulls her into a hug and pinches her ear. She smacks his hand away then pinches his ear.

Y/n turns to the darker blue family with a bright yet shy smile on her face. They could tell it was genuine unlike some people.

"Hello, my name is Y/n." She gives a smile but makes sure to be extra smiley when it comes to the youngest of the family. Neteyam then starts gesturing to himself then the rest of his family introducing each and every one of them.

"My name is Neteyam and this is my brother-.." He was cut off by Lo'ak who was annoyed by being introduced by his brother.

"I can introduce myself Nete. My name is Lo'ak." He smiled slightly at her. He was kind of sad that there was a warrior at her age and Lo'ak was not considered one yet.

Neteyam just rolled his eyes at his brother and continued on with his sisters. " This is my sister Kiri and my baby sister Tuktirey."

"But my friends call me Tuk." She whined a little, still having water in her eye. Y/n swims a little closer to her. "I hope we can be friends then."

The little girl nods quickly and swims to Y/n so that she was on her hip. "We are already friends." She squealed with excitement.

Y/n looks at her in awe, hugging and cuddling her already. Y/n tickles Tuk's little tummy.

"Then I shall call you, Little Tuk Tuk." The little girl just nods and giggles accepting Y/n the name given by the Metkayina.

What they did not see was the soft looks from Tuk's siblings. It was difficult to leave their kin. It is now more difficult for them to adapt to a new living space. A location where the land is basically submerged in water and where they are not accepted due to their darker skin complexion.

While still hugging Tuk and continuing to talk to the new family. She noticed they had totally different eyes than her clan. They were a beautiful yellow-gold. It was complimenting their skin, she was not going to lie. She was a little jealous.

"I hope you are adapting to the water well. Was Aonung good to you guys?" She questioned. She already knew that he was just like his mother. He was not so accepting to other people other than their own clan.

Tuk cut them off before they could say anything, being brutally honest about the young man who was "trying" to teach them. She was not going to lie, and because she was younger, she lacked any filter. Exactly like her mother.

"He was extremely rude. He made me and my siblings sad. I do not like him." She sighed. It was difficult for her to be here, and he was not making it any easier.

She smiled at her and glanced down at her. She recognized how difficult it was. "Would you like me to deal with him?" She speaks gently.

Y/n had already turned to Aonung before the young one could even speak. Tsireya and Rotxo stepped aside, knowing better than to intervene. But they realized it wouldn't be enough because of the newcomers.

Y/n bared her teeth at him, a little hiss coming out of her mouth. Before Aonung could turn away Y/n grabbed the back of his arm to pull him in with Tuk still on her hip.

The Metkayina female then began yelling at him in a humorous manner. She turned her gaze to see Tuk clapping her hands and breaking out in a bright smile, enjoying seeing the chief's son in pain and defeat.

Aonung returned Yn's smile with a playful roll of the eyes. Knowing she was merely acting to make the young Omatikaya happy. That was one thing about him; he was mocking Tuk's siblings rather than her. He'd always had a special spot for kids.

Y/n turned to look at everyone else's faces after that small act. Amusement and gratitude were directed her way. She returned the smile and turned to face Tsireya, who was already staring at her.

"Aren't we supposed to start teaching them?" Y/n inquired, drawing attention away from herself by shifting Tuk to the opposite side of her hip.

Tsireya only flashes a bright smile on her face, content to begin with the family.

Tsireya drew everyone's attention to the individual who would teach them.

"Lo'ak you will be with me." He turned to face her, and she reciprocated with a bashful smile, continuing but being interrupted by Tuk.

"Can I go with Y/n? Pretty please." The youngest looked to her older brother for an answer.

Y/n caught the attention of Neteyam saying, " I would love to take her. Only if that is okay with you of course."

Neteyam looked down to see his younger sister making puppy eyes at him. To be honest, he already had an answer.

"That is fine. Thank you." He spoke honestly, pleased to see Tuk making friends despite the fact that she was older than her. Tuk says, "YAY" still on Y/n's hip and Tuk's arms around her neck, and Y/n merely gives and nods.

Both Tuk and Y/n go to a small island that is not too far from the rest but Neteyam gets from his thoughts when he hears Tsireya.

"That means Neteyam will be with Aonung and Roxto."
