"In love with a killer." (SamGolbach x Reader)

Ch 2.

Your Pov:

"Beep! Beep! Beep!" My alarm woke me. With a groan, I turned to the side and smacked the stop button. "What time is it?" I ask to nobody in the room. I checked my phone and it was 5 AM. I groaned as I sat up. "I hate mornings." I said quietly to myself. After about 5 minutes of procrastination, I got motivated to get up. I started with going to the bathroom to take a shower. As the warm water slowly washed over me I gradually felt more awake. I grabbed a washcloth and my vanilla scented soap and began to wash all over my body. I watched as the suds fell off under the water. Then I washed my hair in my blueberry scented shampoo and conditioner. As the water massaged my head, I thought about that guy I saw yesterday. He had fluffy blonde hair that was parted to the side, he had bright blue eyes, a kind smile, and very noticeable dimples. I remembered how he towered over me, some of his broad muscles becoming visible after I spilt my drink on him. I felt really bad about it. If I saw him again today by some coincidence, I'd apologize and maybe get his name. Once I realized I'd been in the shower for longer than I should've been, I turned the water off and stepped out. I quickly got goosebumps when the cold air hit my skin. I grabbed a towel and began to dry off. I walked out of the bathroom in my towel to get my clothes. I picked out a black long sleeve crop my friend had gifted me. On it was a big white heart with the letters "xplr" in the middle. I don't know where she got this from but it was cute. I also put on a black skirt with a chain belt around it and black leggings to match. I also decided to wear my platforms today. Next was my makeup. I put on a smokey light blue eyeshadow look with some fake eyelashes and keeping it simple, I did my eyeliner noticeable but not thick like I normally did. And to top it off, I put pink lip gloss on over a coating of light pink lipstick to make my lips look more natural. On my way out the door, I grabbed my phone, keys, and my purse. As I was heading down the stairs, I spotted the same guy from yesterday, "It's you! You're the guy from yesterday!" I said. There was also a guy next to him, he had short black hair and he looked a little emo. "Sam, who's this?" The dark haired guy said, "Oh, I ran into her yesterday. She was the reason my shirt was stained brown." The boy from yesterday, Sam, said, "Oh that was you?" The dark haired boy said, "Y-yeah, sorry about that again." I said, a light blush on my face, "Like I said yesterday, it's no big deal, um sorry but what's your name?" Sam asked me, "Oh my names Y/n." I said, smiling, "Well, Y/n, I'm Sam as you already know and the dark haired boy over here is Colby." Sam said, smiling, "Nice to meet you Y/n." Colby said, "Likewise Colby." I said, "I hate to cut this short but I gotta walk to work." I said, "Oh, we were just about to head out ourselves, we can give you a ride if you want." Colby said, "Oh that'd be lovely!" I said, smiling brightly, "Okay then we better head out." Sam said. Colby and I nodded and we all walked down the stairs together. As we walked down, we talked more and got to know each other. I learned Sam and Colby were Youtubers who made videos about the paranormal. I also learned that Sam and Colby lived in the same building I did which made me wonder why I'd never seen them before. We got to the bottom of the stairs and headed out to the car. It was sam's Tesla. "Woah, you own a Tesla?!" I exclaimed, Sam laughed, "Yeah, we make pretty good money on youtube and with our merch. By the way, how did you not know us but you're wearing our merch?" Sam asked as we got in the car, "Oh this, it was my friend's, she gave it to me because she needed room in her closet." I said, "Oh that explains it. So where do you work at?" Sam asked, "The Hot Topic store in the mall." I said, "Okay." Sam said and he started the car. The drive to the mall was silent but not awkward, it was more of a comfortable silence. A song I recoginez played on the radio, "You're not gonna get under my skin!" I sang, "You know my song?" Colby asked, "Yeah! I love the emotion you put into it and how when I listen to it I feel like I'm listening to one of those punk rock songs from the 2000's." I said. Colby's face lit up. The rest of the drive we just talked about their job as Youtubers and I told them about my socials where I make edits and stuff. They instantly followed me on everything. "You guys didn't have to do that." I said, "Well we're friends now so we had to." Sam said and Colby nodded, "Yeah it's no big deal." Colby said, "Okay then." I said. Shortly after, we arrived at the mall. "Thanks guys." I said as I got out of the Tesla, "It was our pleasure." Sam said. I smiled and waved as I walked into the mall. There was a long line of people at the store today, great. It was gonna be a long day.

-After work-

"Bye Stace." I said to my co-worker as I walked out, "Bye Y/n." They said. Stace was my best bud. We both started working here at around the same time and became friends. On my way out, I ran into Sam again. "Y/n!" Sam yelled, "Sam, I seem to be bumping into you a lot." I said with a smile, "Yeah, I was here buying some party stuff. It's pizza night at my apartment and we do a big party when we do pizza night." Sam said, "Oh that sounds fun." I said, "It is, you can come if you want." Sam said, smiling. I nodded, "I'll be there." I said, "Oh, are you going to have to walk back to the building again?" Sam asked, "Yeah, I don't have a car right now because I don't have the money to get one." I said, "Oh, well I can give you another ride if you want. I mean, someone like you shouldn't be walking alone anyways. There's a serial killer out there somewhere ya know." Sam said, "Okay, thanks." I said, "Just let me finish getting stuff and we'll go." Sam said. I nodded and we went and got the rest of the stuff for his party. On the way back to the building, Sam and I talked about our days. He said his was mostly boring but I didn't think it was. He told me him and Colby filmed a prank video and made a giant fort in their house and cleaned it up later. I was thinking to myself how could that possibly be boring but hey, if Sam thought it was boring then that was just his opinion. I on the other hand, did have a boring day. The customers at work were always in and out and nothing interesting happened today. Stace and I talked most of the day too but we did that all of the time. Anyways, we got to the apartment building and parked. "Thanks for the ride home. Now I have to get ready for your party." I said, "Well I'll walk you up because my apartment is on the same floor." Sam said, "Oh alright." I said and Sam and I walked to my apartment. "See you in 2 hours Y/n." Sam said, "Right." I said before I closed my apartment door, locked it, and started getting ready.
