"In love with a killer." (SamGolbach x Reader)

Ch 9.

My Pov:

Y/n, Sam, and Colby headed to the church first thing in the morning. It was storming on the way there. It was a very severe thunderstorm. Frankly, if it were me, I'd take this as a bad sign and boy was I right to think that way. When Sam, Colby, and Y/n got to the church, lightning struck the car, trapping them inside. "Shit!" Colby said, "What now?" Sam asked, "See if you can start the car Colby." Y/n stated, surprisingly calmly. Colby nodded and tried to start the car but it was no use. "Do we have anything to break the windows with?" Colby asked, "I think I have something in the very back. Y/n you're small, can you crawl back there and look? There should be a yellow hammer." Sam said. Y/n nodded and crawled in the very back. She looked under the extra space back there and surely enough there was a yellow hammer. Y/n grabbed the hammer and handed it to Colby. "Brace yourselves!" Colby exclaimed. Everyone braced for glass as Colby busted through the window. Colby cleared the glass from where the window was so everyone could climb out. "Okay ley's hurry inside." Y/n said. Everyone nodded and ran through the church's doors. "Are you Sam, Colby, and Y/n?" the reverend asked, "Yes that's us." Colby responded, "Right this way then." The reverend said as he lead us to a room that looked like it was something out of an insane asylum. "Lay down on that bed Sam. I know this might seem a bit extreme but to banish the demon from you we must protect ourselves as well." The reverend said giving Sam a reassuring look. "Whatever it takes. I don't want anyone getting hurt anymore." Sam said as he laid down on the bed and the reverend strapped him down. "To banish this demon from Sam we must perform a ritual to get rid of it and I'll need your help." The reverend explained, "Like Sam said, whatever it takes." Colby said, "Yeah, whatever it takes." Y/n said. The reverend nodded and asked Y/n and Colby to help him set up candles and a salt circle around the bed Sam was on. After they set up the candles, the reverend got holy water and prayer oil. He put a mark of prayer oil on each one of their foreheads and sprinkled holy water around them. "Grab hands and repeat after me." he said, "Sprit, we command you to leave our friend. We banish you from his body, to never return again and never cause harm to anyone again." The reverend said and Colby and Y/n repeated after him. Sam started to tense up and tried to get out of the restraints. "Spirit, we command you, leave this body and never return." The reverend said as he sprinkled holy water on Sam. Sam's screams would traumatize Y/n and Colby for the rest of their lives. The candles around Sam blew out and the salt circle was blown around the room in a cloud of dust before Sam's body rested against the bed once more. Y/n broke hands with Colby and rushed over to Sam's bedside. She grabbed his hand and stroked his face with the other. "C'mon Sam, wake up." Y/n said as she tightened her grip on his hand. A few minutes later, Sam woke up. Sam said he couldn't feel the demon inside him anymore and they all went back to the hotel. Their stay was over so they all packed up their things and headed back home. From this day on, Y/n and Colby swore they'd never tell Sam what really happened in that room with the reverend but little did they know, well, I'll let you guys find out another day.
