something was so weird about hanma. he seemed like a ghost. what freaked you out was about how your friend reacted to his name.

shuji had left that morning, he had that cold attitude again. as you were eating cereal you saw your phone buzz. it was a random number. you let it ring until it called again, and again, and again.

you answered the phone before you heard a familiar voice. it was ran, "Y/n meet me at the coffee shop down the street from xxx park. Vee and me have to show you something." he said before he hung up.

i starred at my phone before going to put on a grey hoodie and black sweats. i fixed my hair and grabbed my keys before rushing off to that location. as you walked to the coffee shop, you saw your friend and her husband.

"hey guys" you said slightly waving your hand.

they just starred at you before Vee said, "follow us y/n please"

they began walking as you followed to a nearby graveyard. you got a sick feeling as they walked ahead stopping by a gravestone.

you raised a brow looking at the writing seeing a name printed. "who's she?" you asked

".... look to the side." ran said coldly

you looked at the stone. your eyes widened as you felt your stomach feel heavy. your throat tightened looking at the bold writing.

the gravestone had the name printed Shuji Hanma.

"that girl over there, was his future wife. she died protecting him. he later killed himself a year after. he's dead y/n." ran said.

"but. you and her have the same name. you were born the same day she died." Vee said looking at you.

"and coincidentally you are talking to hanma." ran said glaring at me.

"w-what you think i'm some dead girl reincarnated.." i muttered as i felt my eyes water.

they just starred at you in silence.

"i... i have to go." i said before i ran off. i didn't know where i was gonna go. i just ran.

my whole a lie, wasn't it. This didn't make any sense. i wanted to cry that man. he's dead?!?!! i stopped walking before i started panting heavily as i put my hand over my heart.

i went to a nearby gas station and bought a pack of cigarettes and a giant bottle of vodka that they surprisingly had.

i walked back to my apartment as i slammed the door shut and closed all the blinds. i opened the bottle as i started chugging it down. nothing even felt real. my next door neighbor that i took care of and potentially went on a date with is some ghost that i dated in my previous life and now we are reunited?

i laughed to myself having my hand over my eyes staring at the ceiling

i felt nauseous before i ran to the bathroom throwing up. it didn't stop. i just kept throwing up.

i was angry, sad. was that what hanma told me yesterday? how he said he didn't feel anything? how i could hear him scream every night as things were being thrown against his poor apartment walls? how he slips around like a ghost that even naoto was concerned about.

i just felt empty. i didn't know if i was being dramatic, it just feels so surreal knowing that i had a life before all of this.

"i was killed right.. i should have been on the news then." i said before opening up my laptop and searching my name.

i scrolled at the articles dedicated to me and my so called 'death.'

i apparently died saving hanma from some gang members. how cute. hanma then killed himself exactly a year after. i opened the pack of cigarettes and lit one. i never had done this but it's a first for everything.

i inhaled the smoke  and exhaled before coughing. "disgusting."

i saw my parents calling me again, i don't know why but i just began crying.

i shut my laptop before holding my knees close to my chest and shutting my eyes. my head felt so dizzy.

i just want to die

more than anything.

"don't die on me." a familiar voice said.

you looked up in front of you to see those beautiful gold and purple eyes.

it was hanma.
