Chapter 10

Lanying went to clean himself up and Qingyuan finished cooking and cleaned up the mess before leaving a note on the table. When Lanying came out again and found Qingyuan wasn't there. Lanying took the note and read it.

[Tonight I have guests and you probably won't want to meet them so you better not come.]

Lanying frowned. Lanying quickly ate his food and then carried the dirty plates and bowls to the sink. After brushing his teeth. Lanying immediately went to Qingyuan's apartment.

Qingyuan opened the door and was shocked to see Lanying. Qingyuan immediately pulled Lanying into his room quickly. "You better not come out. Since my friends are coming, because you're my ex I thought you'd get beat up by them especially Haoran. They're already in the parking lot." Obviously Qingyuan. Lanying nodded in understanding.

Qingyuan locked his bedroom door. Lanying explores Qingyuan's room and finds Qingyuan's family photo. A beautiful woman and a child and Qingyuan was also someone who looked even older. The three smiled whereas the older one had no expression.

@family room

Bingwen, Huizhong, Haoran and Haoyu came with beer, fried chicken and pizza. Huizhong submitted documents for the past 6 years. Qingyuan received it with a smile.

The four of them started chatting while eating, Qingyuan occasionally responding. It was getting late and the four of them dispersed. When they left, Qingyuan stored the leftovers before opening his bedroom door.

"A Yuan, are they your wife and child?" Lanying asked. The room was dark so Qingyuan turned on the light. "Yes, my wife is called Liu Ying. My son is called Lanqing and my grandfather Zhang Yuan is also there." Obviously Qingyuan smiled. "You seem to really love them." Lanying said.

"I guess so, when I had no place. They made me who I am. I'm grateful for that." Qingyuan said smiling. "I'm going to do my sheets. You stand first." Qingyuan added calmly.

Lanying stood up. Qingyuan took a new sheet and replaced it. The old sheets were dirty from last night. "Can I sleep here?" Lanying asked. Qingyuan paused before nodding. "I'm going to take a shower first." Qingyuan said calmly.

Lanying lay on the bed staring at the ceiling. Qingyuan came out with slightly damp hair and a towel wrapped around his waist. Lanying looked at Qingyuan in shock. Qingyuan didn't seem to care and instead took the file he brought over and read it.

Lanying turned around so his back was facing Qingyuan. Qingyuan read the file carefully until it came to Lanying's profile, the former model of his company. "You're an actor." Qingyuan said. "Yeah, I quit after my contract with your company finished. I think it was 7 months ago." Clearly Laning.

"After that you became a drunkard." Qingyuan said calmly as he put away the file. Lanying turned around and looked at Qingyuan. "Because when you get drunk you don't feel sick." Lanying said smiling sadly. "Your other ex dumped you?" Qingyuan asked casually.

"Possible." Lanying said smiling sadly. The two then went to sleep. The next day the two woke up hugging each other. Qingyuan got up first and went to clean himself up. Qingyuan goes to cook and Lanying wakes up to find Qingyuan not there.

Qingyuan put the food on the table. "Wash your hands and eat." Qingyuan said smiling. Lanying went to wash his hands and eat. It doesn't feel like time has passed quickly. Three months passed in a flash. Lanqing knew Lanying and Lanying often even picked Lanqing up from school.

Even Lanqing was more familiar with Lanying than with Qingyuan. Qingyuan couldn't even believe his son's behavior. Qingyuan finally gave up on his son.

Today Qingyuan seemed to be feeling uneasy for some reason. In the afternoon, Qingyuan received a phone call saying that his son was in the hospital. Qingyuan immediately went to the hospital. Qingyuan went inside and found his son fine while Lanying was lying in the hospital bed.

"Dad, Uncle Lanying was hit by a car to save me." Obviously Lanqing was crying. Haoyu entered at that time. "It's okay, Uncle Lanying will wake up later. Now you come with Uncle Haoyu. Father will take care of Uncle Lanying." Obviously Qingyuan. Haoyu nodded and wiped away his tears. "Please take care of A Qing." Qingyuan said.

"Don't worry." Haoyu said then led Lanqing away. Qingyuan sat looking at Lanying. "Why did you go this far?" Qingyuan muttered silently. Qingyuan fell asleep while waiting for Lanying.

Qingyuan was awakened by the noise. As soon as Qingyuan woke up, he was scolded by a woman suspected of being Lanying's mother, Min Hua. "You shameless man. Not enough, you tortured my son for 6 years. Now you made him have an accident." Accuse Min Hua. "Watch your mouth! You don't even know what A Yuan went through?" Haoran said angrily.

"Haoran, stop it." Qingyuan said not wanting to stir things up. "You may not remember but I do. I remember how you suffered and almost died back then. It was because of Su Lanying. I know if I say this, the three of them will be angry but until now I will say it." said Haoran angrily. "Haoran, you have to calm yourself down." Qingyuan said feeling something bad was going to happen. "I'm very calm." Haoran said looking at Qingyuan before looking at Min Hua angrily.

"Your son broke A Yuan's heart after that A Yuan had to be in a coma for 6 months after recovering his body for two months. He disappeared unknown. 2 years ago, We found him on the beach with a small family but he didn't even remember who we were. After we investigate, he jumped from the cliff into the sea. Qingyuan tried to kill himself so he could forget your son! And you said he tortured your son! Where is your conscience?!" Haoran said furiously.

"Who are you lying to? Just because of a broken heart someone can fall into a coma." Min Hua taunts. "Because there is poison that can make that happen." Su Haitao said coming in. "Uncle Su, what are you doing here?" Qingyuan asked in shock.

"Lanying is my son." Haitao was clearly confused. "You guys know?" Haoran asked in surprise. "Uncle Su and my grandfather are good friends." Obviously Qingyuan. Haoran nodded. "Min Hua, you are cross the line." Haitao said coldly before pulling Min Hua out forcefully. "I'm going out to see." Haoran said.

Lanying opened his eyes, and looked at Qingyuan. "Sorry." Lanying said. "You're awake? Since when?" Qingyuan asked. "Ever since my mom messed up." Clearly Lanying. "Did you hear that?" Qingyuan asked. Lanying nodded.

"That past cannot be changed. You saved my child so you are meritorious. Forget the past." Qingyuan said calmly. “I…” Lanying was cut off by Qingyuan's kiss. Lanying looked shocked. "Shut up and rest. I'm going to see a doctor." Qingyuan said out. Lanying's face reddened with embarrassment at Qingyuan's behavior.
