Izuku pov:
It's the start of our thanksgiving break in the 1-A dorms. I woke up to the loud screams of kacchan down the hallway. He really should get a therapist my god.I peel the comforter off me, letting the air reach my body, sending a shiver down my legs. I reach over to the bedside table to grab my glasses, but then I remember no one has seen me with them. So I just grab my contacts and slowly put them in with the aid of my all might mirror.
I get out of the bed, stretching my arms above my head while arching my back forward and back. I stagger to my closet, searching for something comfortable to wear. I grab a comfortable sweater and matching sweatpants. Today should just be a normal day, no training or work, but who knows with this school.
Once I'm done getting myself together for the morning I open my dorm door, in which a variety of smells flood my nose. Everything smells delicious, however. With a new pride and hunger for food, I happily fast walk to the kitchen to investigate the meal of the morning. Of course, Sato is making cinnamon rolls, while kacchan is cooking bacon, eggs, biscuits, and sausage all at once. Bet he begged to do that, or screamed.
Unaware of my company behind him, he turns around and bumps directly into me, almost dropping the pan he just cleaned.
"OH-sorry kacchan" I quickly respond, moving out his path.
"Get out of the way next time, nerd"
Mean ass. I mean- rude 😀.
I roll my eyes yet laugh it off, dragging myself to the couch. Why is he just so cruel? You would think us being childhood friends would mean something.
Whatever, won't be bothered, I hope.
More of my classmates start pouring into the common area, the sound becoming overwhelming. It starts to bother me, so I get up and walk back into the kitchen to grab the freshly cooked bacon of the plate on the counter. Kacchan, who had recently sat down in the common area, gets up and walks into the kitchen.
"They're so damn loud in there." He remarks, opening the fridge to grab a water bottle. The random comment makes me chuckle.
"Yeah, but they are just having fun. Maybe you should engage." I tease, earning an angry glare from him. My smile fades. "Sorry."
"Whatever. I'm going back to sleep" he says as he begins to walk back to his dorm. Before I can respond, he is already gone. Classic
"Hey guys, I'm gonna go clean my dorm a little just text me if you need me" I say loud to everyone in the common area.
"I can help!" Uraraka adds, releasing her quirk to land her on the ground.
"No, it's fine, I got it" I apologize and quickly make my way to my dorm, ignoring the questioning words from my classmates. I make it to my dorm and quickly shut the door, rattling the room. My dorm has severe issues, from a messed up window to bent walls. Sensei mentioned it to principal nezu, who said he would move me to a new dorm in the 1-a dorms, but I haven't heard about it since. I set my phone down on my desk, picking up papers and clothes as I walk. I've been pretty restless, thanks to the excess amount of air coming through my window. I would do anything for a good nights sleep.
I lay on my bed, unable to get comfortable. I start getting easily agitated to the point I can't stand it anymore. I jump of the bed and angrily grab my sneakers, putting them on. I'll worry about life later, I tell myself. Putting my AirPods in, I run out of the dorms, feeling the breeze on my face. I continue a slow jog until I'm out of UA grounds. Then I pick up the pace. I let my problems and issues blow away like the leaves on the trees. I watch the mothers push their strollers, talking with their friends. I see the fathers planning a party. When I finally pay attention to where I am, my breath hitches.
I'm at the beach?...
