You Don't Know How Long I waited (book 2)

Prologue

Italy,2004
Aria is in a motel in her pajamas writing in a book on the bed.

Dear diary,
It's been awhile since I last wrote in this diary. The Morning of the Raccoon City Incident. I still remember that day like it was yesterday even though it was 6 years ago. That morning I went to go research anything about umbrella. I worked with Jill Valentine and Chris redfield from STARS to help After the arklay mountains incident. I tried to talk to them that morning no answer. I went to work that day at the orphanage hoping to have a normal fun day with the kids only to find myself in hell. I tried to leave with the kids but couldn't get out. I ran to the RPD. Where I met Leon Kennedy and Claire redfield. Where we escaped the RPD but we were pursued relentlessly. Soon after we met Ada wong a fake FBI Agent. Turned out she was working for wesker and was able to trick us into going into Umbrella's NEST. Where I found my father. Only for william birkin to murder him. We escaped the nightmare in a struggle. After that even though it hurt me I knew I had to leave. I was a target by Umbrella. For 6 years I've been traveling all over the world for help. My training from my father was cut short so I had to do what I had to do. I learned more about my father in his 900 years of life. What I could do. Since I'm the only one left of my kind half-human half-vampire still Alive I was able to do things Vampire's couldn't do not even my father. I trained and learned everything I needed to know. now here I am In Italy in a motel still hiding. As the days go by I miss Leon Claire and sherry. I miss Leon more then anything. Raccoon City and Umbrella are gone now but I'll never forget what happened that night

Aria picks an empty glass holding it at the bottom with her palm filling up with water. Aria drinks the water before putting it away. Aria closes her diary putting it in her bag next to her. She then sighs and lays down to relax before she hears a knock making her jump. Aria feels her chest before getting up. The knocks persist. Aria puts her hand behind her back forming a fire. Aria slowly cracking the door open to see trench coat and sunglass. Aria opens the door more to reveal ada a little older. Aria sighs in relief putting out her fire "Ada What are you doing here?"

Ada walks in "Nice to see you too"

"Was that you who dropped the launcher?"

"Catched on fast" Ada says as Aria closes the door behind her

"so how are things?"

"same old" She looks away "Claire's in terrasave"

"she's ok?"

"yep"

"Sherry?"

"Experimented on by the government"

Aria looks down "oh?"

"as your boyfriend Leon he's a government agent"

Aria crosses her arms "He's not my boyfriend"

"sure I saw the way you two looked at each other but anyway that was the deal he made to keep Sherry safe"

"he became an agent to keep Sherry alive?"

"yep"

"Why are you here telling me this?"

"Leon's going to spain to save the president's daughter alone" Ada smirks

"alone?" Aria asks in worrisome

"uh huh" Ada replies "So will I for the plaga sample"

"I'm guessing that'll be in Leon's way"

"yes"

Aria nods "i'll go"

"meet you there" Ada walks out the door "Aria?"

Aria turns to her "Yes"

"I'm sure Leon thinks about you" She closes the door

Aria sighs "Raccoon City all over again"

The next morning - Spain
Aria is walking in a long back hood with her arrows on the black pants and black boots with a small heel a thigh holster while holding her bow.

I can't let Leon get himself killed. I remember my dad telling me a story about the plaga. He helped put it away years ago in some castle basement. Someone must have dug it up. I knew ada wouldn't go digging under a castle it's not her style. If it's true it may turn into raccoon City all over again

Aria hears a car. She turns around to see a faint car moving toward her Crap. Aria runs to a tree and starts climbing.

In the car reveals two men speaking in spanish seeming to be police officer and in the back is Leon with highlights in his hair older leaning on the window looking out feeling a wing necklace around his neck wearing a brown jacket and tan on the inside a gray compact shirt gray pants with black boots and black fingerless gloves

Aria stares at leon on top of a tree as the car stops. one of the officer steps out as leon stares at the tree Aria's on. Aria's eyes glow blue and hides behind a branch.

Leon points up "you see that?"

"see what?" The officer inside asks leon

Leon looks back to see there's nothing there "Sorry" He looks down "thought I saw someone I used to know" Leon holds the necklace tightly

Time skip
Aria's walking alone on video call with Ada "I'm close to the village" Then she hears villagers scream and weapons

Ada chuckles "call you back" Ada hangs up

"Ada!?" Aria starts to run before she feels a rush of pain on her ankle and falls down "ouch". She turns around to see her ankle is caught on a bear trap "no" . She hears close gunshots. She moves a little to get a view of Leon coming toward her way "crap"

Leon runs over to see a wolf wimpering on a dog trap. "shit" Leon walks over and pulls the bear trap out. The wolf shakes before running away. Leon keeps running.

Aria mutates back from the wolf to human and looks at her bleeding leg "damn it"
