You Don't Know How Long I waited (book 2)

Plaga

Aria is behind a building staring at the villagers burning one of the police officer's at the stake. Aria gulps "Acting normal but that isn't normal"

"Psst!"

Aria looks around to see Ada behind a building seeing two bodies near her. Ada tilts her head to come to her. Aria runs over to Ada "hey" she whispers

"took you long enough"

"I got tied up"

"I'm gonna go ring the church bells. Keep these things calm if they see us" Ada runs off

"great" Aria whispers before hearing gunshots

Aria moves upwards to find Leon cornered by the villagers. Aria runs the opposite way to come up behind the villagers as Leon runs inbetween house. Aria shoots with her bow and arrow at the villagers distracting some of them toward her. Aria jumps on the roof of one of the house to the very top then crouches down to get a better view. She watches Leon come up from behind the house and runs inside closing the door shut. Aria looks down "damn it" She looks to her side to see a ladder. Aria runs over to it picking it up to prevent villagers from coming up to her.

One of the villagers call for more villagers. Leon looks through the little window as more villagers come. Aria looks down to see someone with a chainsaw "not good" Aria aims her bow and arrow at the chainsaw man with a bag over his face. All the villagers are surrounding the house and Aria hears glass break "Ada hurry up " Aria walks closer to the edge to get a view to see a big crowd starting to break in. Aria looks down below. She starts to make a scoop motion with her hand seeing the ground starting to bury the villagers into the ground at the front down below

Then everyone hears the bells rings. All the villagers stop and stare at the church. Everyone drops their weapons and start walking like zombies into a house in front of them. Aria sighs in relief

Leon runs out of the house and looks around then looks. Aria backs away behind the chimney. Leon stares up for a moment before looking around again throwing his hands up a bit "Where's everyone going bingo?"

Aria hears a beep grabbing her device to see Ada. She answers whispering "Ada" Aria watches Leon go on without her

"I should let you know some stuff I found"

"go ahead"

"Here's what I know so far Osmund Saddler's cult los illuminados, They resurrected some sort organism called las plagas. That's all my organization knows for sure"

"You mean Wesker?"

"We'll get back to it but Saddler's cult activities seem worthy of an investigation. The salazar family Castellions for generations posses the ability to control las plagas. The organizatiosn hypothesis is that unique frequency of sonic wave sensed only by the parasite is used to control them. The same principal used in dog whistles. This was infered by the analysis by a tissue sampled we retrieved. The tissue contained an organ presumably used for snesing sound waves. I've seen cult members maybe you have too carry ceremonial rodes. I wonder if they admit these sounds of course this is purely theoretical. The organizations need samples of the parasite to confirm or disprove these theories. That's the main objective of my mission and the only way to prove my loyalty to the organization"

"Your gonna betray Wesker?"

"I do what I have too and you do what you have too" Ada hangs up

Aria sighs to herself then looks down "gotta find Leon"

Time skip
Aria's in a tree using binoculars to see around "If I were Leon where would I be?" Aria hears a door near her then turns to looks through her binoculars to see a door open. She watches the villager come out with a man whom she doesn't know. Aria sighs "another captive" She scoffs "seems human I can smell the normalcy" She looks behind to see another villager come out with an unconscious Leon on his back. Aria gasps and looks down "No no no leon"  She keeps watching.

Time skip
Aria is holding two books.

I kept my father's book all these years. Hopefully giving me something.

Aria keeps reading.

According to my father. There's no cure for the plaga. This entry in his diary was made centruies ago. I could be wrong but I have a feeling I'm not.

She hears laughter outside and talking "nothing yet" Aria turns a page in the smaller book to see a photo of her father drawn. Aria sighs before continuing  to the next page hear a door open above. Aria gasps sniffing "Leon" Aria puts her father's diary in her pocket dropping the library book down. She opens the window next her and climbs out. Aria looks at her hands for little tiny sharp stuff come out of her palm before climbing up the house like a spider. Then she hears a commotion upstairs. She climbs up to the upstairs window. She takes a glimpse of Leon out of breath getting up as a tall man walks away.

Aria looks at Leon feeling something is wrong. She stares at his back feeling something is in there

I hope he's not infected with Las plagas.

Aria watches Leon limp away "Same blood"

Aria questions "Same blood?" Aria scoffs looking down "please not him" Aria sees in the corner of her eye a photo of a man in a purple cloak and hood. "must be saddler" She crawls to the next window to see the tall man waiting.  Leon opens the door with his gun aiming but the tall man punches Leon as Leon accidently lets his gun go off as he hits the ground

Aria gasps. Leon feels his chest about to get up but the tall man steps on his chest. Leon starts groaning in pain trying to get him off. The man keeps twisting on leon's chest. Aria crawls to the same level as the window. She puts one hand above the window and on leg on the side of the window. She pulls  out her bow and arrow. She puts her arrow in her bow. She puts her hand on the arrow to aim then uses her teeth to pull on the back of the bow then kicks the window breaking it open and shoots at the man. Leon sees glowing blue eyes

The man turns around getting off of Leon. The man runs at Aria before she quickly climbs up and the man jumps out of the house. Leon stands up grabbing his gun staring at the broken window "What?"

Aria looks ahead hearing yelling and see Ada is surrounded. Aria  sees something shot at Ada then her falling. "Gotta save Ada"
