Third POV

Tian sighed as he gathered up his books and stuffs packing up for the day . His face seems to show his consent about the day . He seems to be happy that each and every day was becoming better . It was his six months , since he started to teach in the village and practically it was the best days in his life .

No matter what people say that , these greenery is never to good for long but for him it was the pleasant mornings of his life .

The students were guided out to their home  by Yod and Rang . And as expected the Chief was waiting for walking him down the teacher’s house like usually . It was really sweet that someone was there to wait for everybody . But here , there was nothing sweet with this pretty big “green monster” . Hehe …. Don’t tell anyone cause this was the secret name given for him by him and his students .

‘Well not to be arrogant or something but he could atleast smile’ that’s the only think stuck with Tian when ever he saw the Chief . No matter how much daily they saw but the older one always held those uninterested face and broody behavior . Tian should actually feel offended by the rude behaviour but he wasn’t. In fact he was amazed that how easily the chief had named him 'the city brat' even though he didn’t do anything to offend him .

Yes he was from cities and people from city usually are brat but he wasn’t like that.  He knew that . But never mind . He walked to the waiting man with his famous dimpled smile but only to be getting a stonic face .

They walked in silence , greeting people on the way. He had made sure he wasn’t going back soon infact all his letters and calls to home had only indicated that he would love to spend his much coming days there . He loved the children , he loved khama’s homely foods and especially the giant chief .

Just with the thoughts made the rose colour creep up his cheeks making him flushed . His fluffy cheeks looked adorable and makes people wants to pull it and the ladies does that.

Without even looking back or acknowledging his thank you , chief walked away to the girl standing near the gate . Tian sighed as he saw her giving the heart eyes to the chief . He was certain the girl , Torfun did have romantic feelings for him . And the way people usual was okay with both being together made him think that they were infact dating .

Well he  just couldn’t be going and asking “hey chief , I just wanna know that , is this green monster ass single enough?”

Tian was sure he was to be getting ripped into two within an instant . He snickered at the thought and instantly falling down in bed on his face .

The night coming , he had been invited to a drinking party which was hosted by Nam . His wife had been visiting the village in her vacation period and he was on moon . He didn’t want to go but still he didn’t want to upset them . He  already had prepared for the next day classes and dressed up in simple plain t-shirt and khakhi pants . It was almost the time for dinner and he was sure the food was going to be heavy .

Walking out he was surprised to see chief waiting for him . Although he appreciated him doing his ‘duty’ at morning , but he wasn’t obliged to do it in night or on any other occasions . He should not be doing it for the casual times . That was ridiculous .

As they again walked into the silence , he decided to break it . Why not ? He was going to take initiative and hope it goes well .

“ You know , you don’t need to do , if it’s not for school . Or even that seems to be too much cause you know it’s like six months already .”
