Chapter Thirteen

Dream's POV
"Sap! So I was thinking-" I say walking back and forth in his living room.

"Let's go back to LV?" He asks raising an eyebrow like he just read my mind.

"Yes!"

"I already have my things packed, I was going regardless" Sapnap nervously chuckles.

"What?"

"Well... I was going to tell you- So George is awake..."

My eyes widen. "Holy shit- are you serious..?"

"Fundy called me this morning"

I can't believe this. He's finally awake. Oh my god. I'm so happy... I need to see him- ASAP. Maybe Karl can take us. I mean he can only transport one person at a time and it does take a lot of energy... but come on! I really want to see him.

to the hospital where George is...

I'm at Sap's

Karl doesn't text back which makes me feel frustrated. Suddenly he appears in front of me looking hopefully startling me a bit. "He's awake?" Is the first thing he asks. I faintly nod and smile. "Shit.. okay- Is Sapnap coming? I can't teleport too many people at a time"

"Yeah I know, me first- Sap after"

"I have this hotel rented so you can just stay there and replenish your energy" Sapnap adds still looking away.

Karl nods and whispers, "okay"

He gets ahold of my hand as his eyes start to glow.

I cover my mouth about to throw up. I feel like my stomach just did a back flip. "Here," The boy says handing me apple juice. "You get used to it.. I'll go get Sapnap" with that he disappears into thin air again. That was so weird. Oh, shit- right- George. I discard the juice and walk inside the hospital heading to the front desk until I hear someone call out for me.

"Dream?" I look back to see a familiar face.. or fox.

"Fundy.."

"He's going to be discharged tomorrow, I was just on my wait out. Did Karl bring you?"

"Yeah- how is he-?"

"See for yourself" He pats me on the back walking by about to exit the building. "109"

I breathe in and out and start walking down the hallway to his room slowly walking in. I see him reading a book sitting on the bed. Burn marks and scars all across him.. it hurts. "Georgie?" I say quietly but loud enough for him to hear.

He looks up at me and puts the book aside, a smile spreading across his face. "Dream!" The boy says cheerfully as if he wasn't sitting on the hospital bed. I faintly smile pulling a chair close to him not exactly knowing what to say or do. "I missed you"

Ah fuck. I feel my eyes tear up. He grabs my hand.

"George!" I hear Sapnap slightly yell running to the boy catching both of us off guard. He wraps his arms around the other's waist hugging him.

I chuckle seeing how impulsive he was. I kiss his knuckles looking back at him fiddling with his fingers. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm... okay- I mean the burn marks will heal eventually. Remember I'm hardly human, although the explosion was bad and not to mention the fall. Both hurt but I'm alive after all"

After a bit, Sapnap pulls away looking at him. "I am so mad at you"

"What! Come on" George argues.

"You almost got yourself killed!"

"Well, I'm still alive! Where's Karl and Quackity?"

"Karl's resting at a hotel nearby and we haven't exactly talked to Quackity lately.." I say looking away.

"..oh, just how much have I missed?"

Sap and I look at each other and back at the boy saying in union, "a lot"

He sighs laying back.

"George so about what you said before the.. incident" Sapnap brings up after a couple of seconds. I look at him confused having no clue what he's talking about. I watch how George's face starts turning into a light shade of red.

"What is it?" I ask curiously.

"He confessed how he lovesss us"

George immediately pulls the American closer covering his mouth trying to get up to shut up. "You are so unbelievable!" He says as they start to bicker. I can't help but smile.

"Say itttt," Sapnap says poking the brit's cheek.

"No! Leave me alone!"

"I'll stop bothering you if you say it"

"Why do you want to hear it so bad?!"

"Because it's adorable!"

"Hey, George," I say jumping into the conversation as Sapnap stops bothering him to look at me. "I love you"

He pauses continuing to stare at me with flushed cheeks. The other American looks back at the blushing boy with a huge grin on his face. "You're blushing! You're so cute!" Sapnap.. continues to annoy him.

"Piss off.." He mumbles covering his face. Sap pulls his hands away. "I love you! I'm going to talk to the nurse really quick" He says exiting the room.

I love you

Three words that mean the world to anyone and everyone. I love him so much. I won't force him to say it but regardless I'll let him know that I love him. Those words are so hard for him to say. He has never been loved. It's something I want to show him. Love can be a beautiful thing.

George sighs catching my attention quietly whispering, "I love you"

"What?"

"He said it!" Sapnap says dramatically walking back into the room. Excited like hearing a baby saying their first words. I faintly smile. I didn't expect him to say it but I'm glad he did.

"I love you... both. Dream, Sapnap thank you" He says smiling fidgeting with his fingers.

Sapnap sits at the bedside kissing his cheek then his lips. "I love you too baby," He says to big surprise not teasing him. I intertwine my fingers with George's kissing him. "We should go on a date when you leave the hospital"

"I'd love to" George chuckles happily using his free hand to hold Sapnap's.
