Neith stood in the corner of the room that Seth was to get ready for his little game with Horus in. She blended with the shadows, having changed her clothes into something more modest, a darker top and skirt, which effectively covered most of her skin. She felt uneasy in the room, attempting to merge with the shadows in a sense.

"Seth. Neith," a voice rang through the room.

Neith paled. She knew that voice and it was imperative that they not be left alone with him in the room.

"Ne..." the man began again when he received no answer.

Neith knew not how he was aware of her presence in the dark corner of the dimly lit room, but it did not matter. The mere fact that he knew she was there was enough to chill her to the bone. She thought, however briefly, of how Sekhmet would laugh at her, should she see her current state. A mighty war god, reduced to a shaking mess with the paltry perception that the man who they had dismembered so long ago.

"Don't say her name, nor mine, with that dirty mouth of yours," Seth growled.

Neith sighed in relief at the fact that Seth had stood up for her as well as himself.

"What did you come here for? You think we won't be able to kill you a second time? Once these petty games are over, we'll shred you to pieces, along with that falcon bastard!" Seth threatened.

Something about Seth's projected confidence, fake or not, spurred Neith on to step forward, out of her protective shadow. She made direct eye contact with the man who frightened her so, her golden eyes glowing molten in the odd lighting. It only served to convey the threat as true. In fact, her eyes seemed to scream that it was not, in fact, a threat, but a promise. Her eyes were filled with images of what they would do to him, down to the last gory detail.

"I'm okay with that," Osiris confessed, seeming resolute.

"What?" Neith spoke up, confused.

"If it means that your anger will dissipate...... I'm okay with that," Osiris spoke, leaning closer to Seth, who was right in front of him.

Neith could see the barest little tremble in Seth's being, only being visible to those who were close by him and those with supernatural eyesight.

"I see you still have a knack for getting on people's nerves," Seth growled.

Osiris merely smirked, leaning even closer to grab Seth's face and knock his headdress off of his head. Seth flinched backwards at the action, trying to hide his face. 'Twas to no avail, seeing as Osiris had a firm grip on the war god's face.

"I missed you both," he grinned.

Neith could feel something snaking up her ankles and around her arms, looking down to see thorny vines wrapping around her legs. They pricked into her skin as they wound around her tightly. She let out a low whimper of pain, so soft, so quiet, that nobody could possibly hope to perceive it.

"W- When did you..." Seth stuttered.

Neith looked over to see that her twin was in a similar predicament. Neith's breathing quickened at the thought that they might not be able to stop their older brother from doing what he wished.

"Just as I thought... nothing beats meeting you both face-to-face, Seth, Neith," Osiris taunted.

"Honorable Horus!!" a voice rang out.

'Twas fuschia-eyed Hathor, god of love and beauty.

"Ah... Hello. I am Hathor, god of love and beauty," the scantily clad female introduced.

It was clear that the god of beauty was trying to earn favor in the ex-king's son's eyes, in the off-chance that he were to win and become supreme ruler.

"...You don't need to be so formal with me since you're Ra's daughter," Horus sighed.

"But... Aren't you the soon-to-be supreme ruler?" Hathor questioned.

Horus remained silent in the face of the question, prompting Hathor to speak once more.

"I have no doubt you'll win. You'll win for sure!" Hathor smiled.

"...Thank you," Horus said bowing slightly.

Hathor's pale face erupted in a mighty blush.

"Uh... Well... You're wounded... I could..." she stuttered out.

"I'm fine. It's nothing to worry over," Horus assured her.

"Ah! I- I see...! You're so strong! What a relief! I- I would expect nothing less of the son of Osiris!... ! I'll be on my way then... See you next time!" Hathor fretted, fleeing away from the object of her clear affections.

Horus merely stood there, stone faced.

"Everything ended well. They decided to settle on the winner of three rounds, just as Horus proposed," Osiris spoke, entering the room in which Isis had been fretting about.

"Osiris...! Thank you. Because of you, everything turned out alright. You brought me all the way here to protect me from that chaos, didn't you?" Isis grinned, throwing herself at Osiris.

He made no move to wrap his arms around her, but that seemed not to bother her much. She was much too overjoyed.

"Still, you should've told me beforehand.  You have no idea how shocked I was when you disappeared after bringing me here so suddenly. Why didn't you tell me...?" she questioned.

Osiris said nothing, as per usual.

"You're always like this... You never tell me anything," Isis groaned going from overjoyed to saddened to downright bashful.

A blush painted itself across the magic god's face.

"If I'd known you were coming...... I would've at least prepared myself..." Isis huffed.

"You've been through a lot, Isis. You don't know how much it hurt me to watch you from Duat," Osiris sighed, wrapping her in his arms.

"I'm forever grateful to you," he continued.

Isis looked up at him, seemingly starstruck.

"Osiris..."

"I want to stay with you, but I don't have much time left," Osiris admitted.

"Are you leaving me like you did before? But we've just been reunited!!" Isis cried out in distress.

"I'm sorry... Isis..." Osiris apologized as his body began to melt away.

"You're leaving like this again?! No! You can't!!! Please don't go! Osiris! Stay with me!" Isis begged.

"There's no one else I can ask. Isis... my beloved wife. Please take care of this child," Osiris requested.

"Child...? What child...? Osiris!" Isis questioned, trying to hold onto her husband's melting body.

However, she was shocked to find that, when her husband's body had fully melted away, Seth's son, Anubis, lay on the floor, unconscious.

"Anubis!!!"
