• Chapter 4 •

Aubrey's POV

I wrap my legs around Kyle's waist and put my arms around his neck.

"I'm never letting go!" I yell at him

"Like hell you aren't" he answers, bit h what?! Haha I'm funny. not. I love him spinning me around its awesome.

He stops spinning and he looks up at me. haha I'm taller. I loosen up a little since I'm not holding on for dear life, I look down, he's looking right into my eyes. Is he going to kiss me?!

He starts to lean in. Oh my god. he's going to kiss me. I flutter my eyes shut and lean in too.

Our lips touch and start moving slowly together. Holy fuck. I'm kissing Kyle King. Oh my god! I'm actually not believing this right now. I've been crushing on this guy since we were in grade 9, I'm I'm actually kissing him nearly 3 years later. Wow.

He pulls away , I open my eyes and he looks at me. I'm going to tell him. No wait. yes, I am. Oh god...

"Kyle?" 'Don't do it! Aubrey?! No!'

"Yea Aubrey?" 'don't do it!"

"I really, really like you" 'and you did it! Nice job!'

"I really like you too" Oh. My. God. Kyle really likes me. not just likes but 'really' likes me. That's horse shit. Watch me just wake up.... its all a dream I know.

Why am i not waking up? Holy. Crap.

Im not dreaming. Kyle actually just kissed me and he actually 'really' likes me! Holy. Crap. I wrap my arms around him like a koala bear. "Aubrey?"

"Kyle?" i asked him nervously,

"I think that everyone is starring at us" I look up a bunch of adults and old couples were staring at us.. with a"Awee" faces. I unwrapped my arms and jump off of him out of hims arms. Of course, clumsy me falls when i hit surface. God the water is cold. I stand up and Kyle is laughing at me.

"Oh stop it." i say with my blonde hair cover my face.

"Im sorry." he says still giggling a little bit. "Do you want to go for ice cream now?" he smiles,
"yes!"

We arrive at the ice cream place and we get in line, its a cute little stand with 2 or 3 people working in it, there's pink and white stripes on the walls and a big wall of flavours. To. Much. Only 2 people are in front of us so I want to pick something soon. "Do you know what you want Aub?" He says gently taking my hand into his,
"I think I'm going to get wolf paws, it's my favourite." Ahhh Wolf Paws is the best ice cream ever! It's chocolate and camel swirl with the brownie chunks. Oh my god, I could marry it! "What about you?"
"I like chocolate"
"I'm going to have to try some of yours" I say smirking, we get to the counter and we order. Still holding hands we wait for our ice cream and we pay.
I feel a little tap on my back, I jump a bit at it and turn around, its a little girl. About 6 or 7 with long dirty blonde hair pulled back into a braid. She's wearing a pink summer dress and she is ADORABLE!
"Exuse me?" her voice is high. not annoying highly just not deep.
"Ya?" I ask.
"What happened to your eye? Does it hurt?" Crap. I forgot about my eye. Damn you dad! Dang... think of a lie this of a lie!!
"Well, I was playing soccer and a girl kicked the ball and it got my eye." huh, that wasn't bad.
"Oh , well I hope you feel better!" She says with a big smile, then she hugs me
"Lilly! Sweetie come finish your ice cream and stop bothering people!" I'm guessing that's her mother.
"Thank you Lilly" I smile, and watch her skip along to her mom, I wish I was young again had no worries at all .
Once Kyle was done paying we went outside,
"Well that was cute!" Kyle smiled.
"I know, she's adorable. I wish I was a kid again," I sighed he puts his hand in my lap,
"I think we all do"
We ate out ice cream in complete silence, I wonder what he was thinking about, me? No, never. What if he asked me out? 'Ya right aubrey, in your dreams' I say to my self. He said he really liked my and he kissed me, and that's all I'm going to get.
"Do you wanna stay at my place again?" He asked out of the blue. Yes! Oh my god! He asked me so have a sleep over. Were not even dating. Were just friends, that what friends do right?
"Ya, ok" I say
