Day 7

Finally Wednesday. Why? I could sleep in an hour for our school has late start every Wednesday but there are those exceptions some times. The only thing is not to be late for the bus because of my sibling lazy mornings. When I finally wake up I get into my pair of jeans and a plain dark purple shirt with another gray hoodie sweater. I really didn't care What I wore. Even though my black shoes were torn up with holes. Which showed a bit of my socks which were a dark purple as my shirt. When I came back from the wash room I went to wake up my sister to start getting ready. Later when I had my shoe laces tied. I went to my mother room to ask her what was for breakfast.

Jasmine: Ma wake up. Ma. Ma. Ma.(When she finally woke up) What did you make to eat.

Mother: Burritos. They are on the pan that is on top of the stove........Don't forget to wake up your brother.

Jasmine: I really have to eat and go. Bye Ma.

Mother: Be careful.

I went to the kitchen and took out the gallon of milk from the refrigerator and got my burrito. Later came my sister which was fully dress and I pointed to her where were the burritos. Then I saw my mom come in with my brother that was like a zombie. Since my family knows me as the good girl, never asks for much and keeping your mouth shut. When I finish eating I went to the wash room to brush my teeth. I heard the front door bell ring but was right away answered by my mother.

Mother: Jasmine our neighbor's boy came to pick you up.

(Wait what?! No it can't be but the only one is Kevin.)

Kevin: Miss is it okay if I walk Jasmine to the bus.

Mother:(with a grin)Okay but be careful with our daughter.

Jasmine: MOM!(coming out with back pack and things)

Kevin: Hurry up Jasmine before we miss the bus.

Once we where outside I felt so nervous that I could not speak to Kevin at all. We just let the silence in to our space till we finally came to the stop. It did not last long for a group gossiping girls came near.

Girl 1: Have you heard of the new victim?

Girl 2: Yeah. They say that men that have been taking strolls at night have been ambushed by a stranger.

Girl 3: But what is strange is that all victims say it was teenage girl who attacked them.

Girl 1&2: Yeah

Girl 3:Hope fully they catch the culprit.

Girl 1: What if we do it ourselves and bring this criminal to justices. We are going to need a bait and help.

I could feel their stare in to my back. Why me?

Girl 2: Hey Jasmine why don't you help us. Since you are a good for nothing.

Girl 1: Why ask her she will just scare off the culprit.

Girl 3: Not if she is the one.

I could just hear them laugh it off. Don't show any emotions. Don't show any emotions. Don't show any emotions. Don't show any emotions. But....why do I feel a tear roll down my eye.

Girl 1: Ahhh look at the cry baby. Hahahahaha

Kevin: Why don't you shut your ugly mouth up. Before I stitch it together with your friends. Since you all don't know how to talk politely.

Girl 2: Why should we. She is just a nobody and so are you.

Jasmine: Why don't you shut up.

Wait what did I. Dammit. Dammit. Why did I have to open up my mouth. I could see the hand come to my face but no impact. I finally process that a hand, no Kevin's hand , stopped her before the impact. I could see that right away the girl retreated her hand. She looked angry no she was frustrated. When the bus came we went inside with not much problem. Since they left the front seat empty but with gum on it. I just put a piece of paper on it and sat with Kevin. All day long I was with Kevin having a great time and talking about the life in his world. I always thought that it would be a never ending furnace but he says it's like the human world. They only differences are the language, always night, monarchy and demons live within that realm like normal. He explains that I would be the fallow up of the next Queen in their land. He might as well start to teach me things for my benefit. Right after we left the school we took the bus home again. I went to leave my stuff in my room and told my mother that I would be staying over the night at Kevin's to finish some homework. She just grin at me and told me to run along and to be careful. When we finally all were at the living room. Kevin told me that it be important to master my powers. Since I really don't know what to do I was explain that Tux or demons would interfere with me becoming the Queen. So that night Kevin took me to the ware house where we first meet or introduced each other. He started off with the basics of defense and offence. I learn how to make black spheres, flying , and barrier. The hardest thing that happen was the application of fighting in my transformation. I was totally not used to fighting at all but they took their time with me. My first opponent was a dummy. Which won and I don't even know how but it won. The only reason that came to mind was that it made me fall to the floor more than once from every impact I made. Till I stood my ground I started to get used to it but I that all change. I felt something coming to me and I just acted on instinc. In which I successfully dogged then blocked a kick. Wait a kick. At that instant I fell to the ground again but the assaulter did not wait for me to stand. I right away put up a barrier making him bounce off of it(the barriers came natural to me). He came with a second attack coming to my view it was no other than Caleb. I got up and started to think. What should I do? He's coming. He's coming. He's commmminggggggg!

Kevin: Jasmine pull yourself together!

Hearing that I block his attack and this time I went for an attack. I felt that I was opening this small hole letting more and more power to me. Every hit attack or defensive was making that hole bigger. I gave a kick which distracted what I was really aiming at his neck. Which made him stumble. He push me away and transformed. Wait what? And I thought he had enough power as he was. I right away saw him throw a ball but it was too fast. I barely got a tiny scratch from the sphere and I see a tiny dot of blood come down my face. At the sight of the blood I felt that something cracked from within me. What am I going to do. Wait They never said anything.

Jasmine: Keeevvvviiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn! What am I supposed to do.

I was still dodging the attack but my stamina is not that high. I could tell since my body was getting heavier by the minute.

Kevin: You just have to knock him out.

Why?Why?Why?Why?Why?Why?Why?Whyyyyyy?I could barely see his outline but before he attacked I came running to him with the energy that I had left. I finally let my mind concentrate on the energy to be placed through this attack. I felt a rush of power rush which double the size of my sphere. At that distance It was aimed at him but he also aimed one to me but mine consumed his and hit him dead center. We were still standing ,facing each other, with a distance of ten feet. We heard the first person how fall who was Caleb. I was still standing till my feet gave out. I could see someone coming to me.

Kevin: You did great.

I showed him a smile(real) and went into the darkness. Later at night I found myself in a room. I stand up and see Kevin looking out of the window into the sky nothing in particular.
just went to the clothing drawers and pulled out my pjs. I went to the bathroom took a quick shower and went back to my room. I changed and went to my bed to fall asleep again.
