kiri's pov:

it was dark outside, me, y/n and tsireya were sitting inside tsireya and y/ns marui.

y/n was sitting next to me, sewing together a new piece of clothing while i and watched.

tsireya was sorting her seashell collection out of boredom.

then, i felt my eyes become heavy.

i quickly rubbed them, trying to fix it, but it didn't work.

i tried to fight it, but it didn't work.

i just decided to rest my head calmly on y/ns shoulder and slowly drifted off to sleep.

your pov:

while i was just trying to center a seashell on a top i was sewing, i felt kiri rest her head on me.

i looked to my side to see her sound asleep.

i smiled to myself as i placed everything down.

i turned to try to pick her up without waking her.

i somehow managed to.

i placed her on my bed and tried to make her comfortable without her input.

"is she sleeping?" tsireya whispered.

i turned to face her and nodded, smiling.

i turned back to kiri, pulling a blanket up to her shoulder and standing up.

"i'm gonna go ask if kiri can stay at our pod tonight." i said calmly, making my way towards the door and exiting.

when i arrived to their marui, i peeked through the window to see neytiri asleep, neteyam and lo'ak playing with tuk, and jake just watching them play.

i stepped into their pod as tuk turned her head, a huge smile across her face.

"y/n!" she said excitedly, standing up and hugging me.

"hi tuk!" i laughed.

she let go and went to sit down again.

"hey, jake? can kiri stay at my pod tonight?" i asked, turning to him.

"sure, make sure she's here by morning." he replied.

"okay, thank you!" i said happily, leaving the marui.

that night

tsireya was asleep when i had finished up the clothing i was crafting.

i looked over at kiri to see her sound asleep on the edge of my bed, facing the wall.

i felt myself smile as i stood up and came over to my bed.

i lied down next to her, facing her even though she had her back turned to me.

i guess she felt me move because she instantly turned around and snuggled into me.

i hesitated for a minute before i wrapped my arms around her and pulled her even closer, kissing her head.

she wrapped her arms around me in return as i felt her smile against me.

since i had gone to sleep later than her, i woke up later than her the next morning.

kiris pov:

i had spent twenty minutes waiting for y/n to wake up.

"y/nn." i whined, cuddling up closer to her sleeping body.

"wake up please i'm bored." i complained.

i sat up and she rolled over to face me.

i lied back down to her face level.

"y/nn." i said quietly.

"eywa's telling me to tell you to wake up." i said, smiling.

took her a few seconds, but her eyes finally fluttered open.

she saw me and instantly smiled.

"hi kiri." she said.

i smiled happily in return.
