Hiccstrid Modern LOVE Story

Huh? Since when he is here??!

Class has just started again and Astrid managed to go to class on time and saw Hiccup was also in her other class she is in. Hiccup looked up and saw her and he immediately smile, noticing a familiar face in this class again as he sighed in relief. 

"Hey Astrid, glad to see you in this class too. Looks like we have more than one classes together" Hiccup says and smiles.

' i seen this type of guys before and i am not falling for his trap. He might appear nice but i have to be beware just in case he is faking his identity, after all i heard some rumors about him on the way here' Astrid think as she smiles back at him.

' Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the 3rd, a guy who dated almost every girl in his previous school and dump them right after not longer than 2 weeks, leaving all the girls heartbroken. He always have the tactic of saying he will love her and cherished her but all those words don't mean it. People say he used to be this very nice boy in his first 2 years but something changes after his 2nd year in his previous school, no one really know what happened, he just become this way one day. That is what i heard from those rumors, but it can be true and it cannot be true as well, but whatever it is i have to beware of him '

"haha yeah, what a surprise. But at least i know someone in this class which is a relief" she says and fake smiles.  Hiccup nodded and smiles before he turn to the front because the teacher arrived.

"Class, i am Mr Gobber here, you can just address me as that, mate. Since today is the first day for everyone, i would like you guys to introduce yourself and get to know one another. It's good for your future projects ya know? You will be able to find your group members easily and also have some friends to hang out with during your break time. You guys are going to have a reaaally long year. So today there will be no lesson, but mainly class bonding games. So now move ya ass and let's start playing the game.  " Gobber says while clapping his hands and order them to start moving.

"Uhh Mr Gobber, can I have a word?" Hiccup say raising his hand, surprised to see Gobber teaching him.

"Huh? Oh sure lass" He says as Hiccup stands up and walks to Gobber.

"Psst, why are you here in school? Aren't you supposed to help my dad?" Hiccup whispers as he stands in one corner with Gobber.

" I heard you are attending this school as a student so I volunteered to become a teacher , and don't worry lass, I still help your dad as a side job and also your dad asked me to keep an eye on you so that is what I am doing. Don't worry, I won't get in your way. It's good to see you make a friend there lass, she's a very pretty one I shall say." Gobber says patting his shoulder and winked.

"Huh? What do you mean? Oh! You mean Astrid? She is a hard one to get actually, it didn't work on her" he says scratching his head.

"Ah, you mean the charm you give to every girl? I am surprised it didn't work on her, she's special then. I guess it's either she is used to it or she just doesn't care, but i get it, you been trying to get her attention, and it's not working, anyways good luck lass, but not good luck to the point of breaking her heart" he says sternly.

" ha ha, i have no idea what you are trying to say" he chuckles nervously knowing Gobber know what he is trying to do again.

"you better not do it Hiccup, i am warning you, this girl is not like any other girl you know. Anyways, enough of the chit chat, let's start playing the games" He says and walks back to the group of students.

*After a few games and class is about to end*

"Okay class, thanks for being so called participative and i know we all are tired. But I hope you guys really do make some friends along the way. Anyways welcome to the Berk Academy officially. I hope you guys enjoy your time here and make sure to have fun while you can" he says and leaves the class.

"Great... I can't believe Gobber is also here in this school to check up on me" Hiccup says and sighs as he sits down on the chair after Gobber left.

"Hey, do you know Mr Gobber? You guys seems to talk for quite a bit there" Astrid says looking at Hiccup with her glasses on.

"Huh? Oh just some stuff, nothing to worry about Astrid, thanks for asking" he says and smiles.

"You're welcome" she says
