Leo x Abraham chapter 2

the next days comes by and he wakes up at 9am fills the paper out and goes back to the shop the manager then greets Leo with a simple welcome then Leo hands him the paper Leo then says"so what position will I get"then Ajay replies with"you'll be restocking the shelf's"Leo then looks so unsatisfied by that because he wanted to be a cashier but he didn't say anything because he really needed a job so he just took it then the manager says"your coworker will be this guy named Abraham he's my son if you need anything ask him"Leo then sees Abraham restocking the shelves and he thinks to himself like why him like I would have preferred anyone but him

Then Leo goes in the locker room and changes. When he's done, he goes to Abraham and asks some questions, like, "So, where can I find the boxes so that I can also restock the shelves?" Abraham then says, There, in the back, on a pallet." Leo then looks at home confused and asks, "What's a pallet?" Abraham then looks at home with an annoyed face and says, "A pallet is something that people put food on and ship it out, and it's wooden, by the way." Leo then gets the confused look off his face then says"ok"then walkes off to the back room and sees so much stuff and a note saying what to restock so he then grabs the note and grabbed the stuff and goes to restock it but then when he got there it was to high up for him so he went to go ask Abraham he then goes over to him but then Abraham looks at him with a death stare but then the words just slip out of Leo's mouth "can you help me restock the hazelnut oil it's to high up for me" Abraham then says yes In the nicest way possible, but In his mind he wants to beat the sh*t out of Leo for annoying him and not helping him, but he goes and helps him anyway.

It goes smoothly until lunch break, when Leo forgets his lunch. It's more like he's too broke for that, and his mom doesn't want to make him lunch. Abraham notices this and asks, "Are you going to eat? Are you too broke for that?" Leo then gets kind of annoyed, but then he just says, I'm too broke. And my mom didn't make me lunch." Abraham then starts to laugh and says, "You, Brooke, I guess I'll buy you something from the store since I feel bad. Also, why can't you make your own lunch?" Leo then says, "Because I don't know how to," which makes Abraham start laughing so hard that he starts crying. Then he says, "Just go pick something from the store. Then Leo goes out there and gets a sandwich and some chips, which Abraham pays for, and he starts eating it. And he and Abraham actually have a good conversation.

Now it's on to the last part of the day, and there on their second break, Leo's on his phone looking at women, and then Abraham comes around and says, You're looking at women when you have a 6'4" stud right here? Leo looks up with a weirded-out face mixed with embarrassment, and he moves away to look in private, but then one of the women in the room sees this and is genuinely shocked, and then both of them get more embarrassed, and she just walks away before anyone says something, and they just sit in the break room for like another 4 minutes until the break is over.
 
Now that it's the end of the day, Leo then goes to get his stuff and change in the locker room. Abraham also changes, but they don't talk to each other after the embarrassing moment at their second break. Leo then leaves, puts in his earbuds, and walks home. He opens Spotify and plays the song Am I Dreaming by Lil Naz X, and he thinks, Will he ever be with someone? Will he ever get his life on the right track? He then reaches his house, goes to his room, and sleeps.
 
The next day
Leo wakes up at around 4 in the morning and checks his phone, and he gets a message from his cousin saying, Hey Leo, how has life been? Leo then looks at this and replies, It's been going well. I recently got a job, and it's actually been going well. And you?? Leo then listens to music in his room until 10 a.m., when the store opens. Leo then walks to work. He sees Abraham doing the same and decides to go and walk with him. Abraham sees this and asks him, "So how was your morning?" Leo then replies, It was good; I got up really early, and how was yours?" Abraham says, It was ok; I had to rush out of the house this morning." Leo then says, That must suck, but it's whatever." Then Leo sees some girls that work at the store walking there and asks Abraham, "So, like, does everyone walk to work?" Abraham then says, Yeah, everyone does but the manager." Leo then looks surprised because he expected the majority of them to drive.
 
They now go into the store and see all their coworkers, and then they go to the locker room, and then there's this other guy named Connie who works at the cash register. He was also pretty tall, and then Connie says to them, Hey guys, how has your morning been?" Abraham replied, "Very shitty."
Leo replies, I've had a great morning." Connie then looks at Leo and doesn't recognize him and says, Are you new around here? I don't remember seeing you. Leo then replies, Yeah, I am. I started like two days ago." Connie then says in a happy tone, Well, then, I hope we get along very well." Then another person that works at the cash registers says, "We need you right now, so when you're done, get out here immediately." Connie then goes out there and starts working, just like Leo and Abraham.
 
During their shift, while Leo was restocking, a couple walked past him; they had a child as well, and while he was restocking the shelves, he was thinking about having kids. When the couple left, Abraham showed up and said, I'm surprised you haven't asked me for anything yet." Leo then looks up and replies, I'll be asking you to buy me lunch today again." Abraham then looks so flustered: Well, then I guess I was wrong anyways. How has your shift been?" Leo then thinks he's being so nice today; did something happen? But he pushes that aside and says, It's been good, and shouldn't you be restocking shelves?" Abraham Tey says, Oh yeah, I should. I'll leave you alone till break." Abraham then leaves, but Leo starts to question things like, Am I his new plaything? Are we friends now? Does he like me?
 
Now onto break. Abraham buys Leo lunch, and they eat together. Connie joins them, and they all start talking, but someone else comes over. Her name is Miranda, and she says in a sweet tone, Hey Abraham."
Abraham then replies, Hey Miranda. How has your day been?" then Marinda gets flustered by this and replies in a cute tone, It's been very good, and your." Then Abraham responds, and they start having a big conversation, so Leo then asks Connie, So who is this Miranda chick?" Connie says, Oh, she works there; she does the cash register with me; she's pretty nice, and I think she likes Abraham." Leo then has a jealous look on his face and says, Oh, ok. Then Leo just sits quietly and listens to their conversation. When it's over, Leo asks, So how long have you guys known each other?" Abraham then replies, We've been friends since high school, and ever since we started working here, we kind of started to drift apart."
 
Now that they are back to work and break is over, Leo and Abraham are stocking the shelves and also having a conversation. Leo asks, So what are you interested in?" Abraham then replies in a happy way, Well, I'm into comic books and doing magic tricks." Leo then looks surprised and says, Wow, can you show me one?" Abraham then says, I only do card tricks, and I don't have a deck of cards on me." Leo then gets so unexcited, but then Abraham also asks, So what are you interested in?" Leo then looks surprised that he even asked. Leo then responded, Well, I'm into music, and that's really it." Abraham then says, Oh, so who do you listen to?" Leo then feels like he's actually made a friend, but besides that, he responds, "Well, I listen to Conan Gray, Mother Mother, Beach Weather, the Weeknd, Drake, and a few others." Abraham then looks surprised that he knows so many people, some of whom he doesn't even know, but besides that, he responds, "Wow, I've only heard of 3 out of the 5." Then they talk until the end of their shift.
 
Now onto the end of the shift, back in the changing room getting ready to leave, Abraham asks, So you want to go out to eat tonight as friends?" Leo then looks up and can clearly see that Abraham is blushing a little bit, and Leo says yes." Then they both leave the building and walk to a nearby cafe named Caffeine Craze. Abraham orders a blissful berry burst and Leo orders a Caramel Dream delicacy. They then sit down and start chatting: "So how would you rate your experience working at the shop?" Leo says Abraham then responds, "Well, I like it, and you?" Leo then says, It's ok, but I don't think I was really ever cut out for work. Then it's just awkward silence for the next few minutes, then they just talk for the rest of the night, then they leave, and Abraham walks Leo home.
