Voldemort started walking towards Y/N, she watched him closely, paralyzed in fear. Voldemort stopped just a few feet from her and stood, watching her with intense curiosity, he put his hands behind his back.
"I don't understand what this is all about," Y/N spoke frightened, and watched him closely. Voldemort didn't speak and rather just watched her.
"Kill the boy..." Voldemort said slowly while vanishing into a could of black mist.
"Wait!" Y/N told him quietly, still terrified.
Y/N jolted up out of her bed, holding a hand over her heart feeling it pound into her hand. Another nightmare. She got out of bed and rubbed her eyes, removing the crust that had formed around them. She got dressed in her morning clothes and opened her door to walk downstairs.
"Dad?" She called out to Severus waiting for an answer. He wasn't there. "Dad?" She asked curiously as she walked to the kitchen. There was no one else home."I guess he had to be at the school earlier... thank merlin I know how to use the floo powder." She thought sadly as she prepared breakfast for herself and her cat, Wisp. She set down a small bowl of kibble for him and prepared some toast for herself. She grabbed her bags shortly after and walked to the unlit fireplace. The wood had been burnt down in the night. She grabbed a handful of the floo powder and stood inside the fireplace. She called out "King's Cross!"
Y/N was wisped away in a bright green flame, transporting her and her bags to the King's Cross Station. It was a beautiful sight. Although she had been here before once or twice, she never had a real purpose, but now she did. She was at this station because she was chosen to attend Hogwarts. Her heart raced and her eyes made their way to see the big 9 3/4 sign above her. She watched the older witches and wizards say their goodbyes to their parents while watching over the newer students look just as confused as she did. She couldn't contain her excitement and started walking towards the train, she adjusted her bag and just for a moment stopped looking where she was going. At that moment she collided with a young boy in glasses.
"Ack!" Y/N squeaked out, falling to her butt and dropping both of the bags she had. She looked at the boy and opened her mouth to speak before he held out his hand to her.
"I'm so sorry about that! Are you okay?" The boy asked quickly. Y/N took his hand and stood up, brushing off her jeans that were lightly covered in dust. The boy helped her pick up her bags and apologized once more.
"It's okay, I wasn't looking where I was going," Y/N spoke a little shyly and held out her hand with a small smile. "I'm Y/N Snape."
The boy smiled and adjusted his glasses before shaking her hand. "Harry, Harry Potter." For a second Y/N forgot what that name meant, then it clicked. Her eyes widened and she started rapidly apologizing. Harry assured her it was no problem and offered to help her carry her bags since his baggage was already on board. She agreed and walked with him onto the train. They walked past a lot of compartments that were all taken by wizards and witches who knew each other as they were all laughing and smiling. They stopped in front of a compartment with one red-headed boy inside. Harry knocked on the door just softly enough over the sounds of the commotion.
"May we sit here? Everywhere else is full." Harry stated while looking at the other boy who looked about our age. The red-headed boy nodded and gestured for us to sit. Y/N placed her bags in the overhang and sat down next to Harry.
"I'm Ron, Ron Weasley." The redhead spoke with a smile and held his hand out to Harry. Y/N looked a little taken aback when he said his last name, considering she had only heard stories from her father about the Weasley bloodline. Harry spoke next and held Ron's hand to shake. "I'm Harry, Harry Potter."
