"Leave me alone, why are you being so mean," a voice came from down the hall. Jesse knew that voice. "Time to go get beat up." Jesse sighed.

Jesse was 15, dark brown hair, green eyes, slim but muscular, and about 5'5. He wasn't the strongest in the Academy even though he was from the strongest clan, the clan of Sora. He always told himself maybe if he trained more, he would be stronger but that was a lot of work. Jesse ran down the gold-plated Hallway of the "Golden Academy".

There she was, Lux, they feared the demon inside her, but he always thought people would try to be nicer. She was the most hated kid in the school and Jesse had no idea why either. It was just human nature he guessed. "Back off. she hasn't done anything to you," Jesse growled as he rushed in front of her. "Oh, look who came to get beat up again," The taller kid remarked. "This is going to be fun," the other said. They both swung at Jesse, he tried to block but he got hit HARD. Down he went. "Mark, my words, YOU are the reason the Sky Clan is going to fall," the taller one said as they walked off.

"Oh, hey Jesse, how are you," Lux asked. Lux was 13, about 5'1, with brown eyes, and black and green hair. While Jesse never showed it, he was quite fond of Lux. "Oh I was just fine until I got punched in the face... twice I may add," Jesse said. "I didn't tell you to get punched in the face did I," Lux said smirking. "One of these days Lux, I'm going to kick your a-," Jesse was cut off by Lux. "You always threatened to, but you haven't yet have you," Lux said mockingly, "Admit it, you like me, don't you? You consider me your friend." Jesse just turned his head in disbelief. The two walked down the hallway to their next class the whole Jesse was being mocked by Lux. They entered the loud classroom.

"Okay everyone, we are going to talk about the different elemental abilities. Does anyone here know which is the rarest and most powerful element?" The teacher asked. No one answered. Jesse didn't want to answer even though he knew a lot of this stuff. "Well since no one is volunteering, am I led to believe that you didn't do last night's homework? Well, I'll just pick one of you," the teacher said. "It's going to be Lux, who just happens to be asleep... again. Lux, would you be so kind as to answer?" the teacher asked, chuckling a little. Jesse kicked Lux, who happened to sit right in front of him and whispered "Lightning". "Lightning," Lux exclaimed as she jumped out of her seat.

"That is correct, I guess even low lives like you can get an answer right occasionally," the teacher said mockingly. "Well at least I don't look like something born from a flogre (Zombie-Ogre, very hideous)," Lux said in protest. "Dang it Lux! Will you ever learn to let things slide," Jesse said under is breath. "What was that young lady," the teacher asked. "Did you not hear when I said it the first time? I said," before she could finish a ruler came flying at Lux's face. Jesse jumped in front of it. SMACK! Jesse got smacked right between the eyes. Jesse fell to his knees holding his forehead. "You dumbass, I would have just dodged it. You really didn't need to do that," Lux said laughing. "Oh, shut up, if it wasn't for me, you'd have a mark on your head," Jesse said in protest.

"You two outcasts can go straight to the headmaster's office right now," The teacher said angerly. "Whatever flogre," Lux said while laughing. As soon as she said that another ruler came flying towards them. They ducked and ran towards the headmaster. "Lux... I swear... one day you'll... get us killed," Jesse said out of breath. "Ha-ha... probably... but you know... it's fun," Lux said, also out of breath. "I worry about your mental health sometimes," Jesse said as they walked to the headmaster's office. The halls were so golden, it was an eyesore. Even the lockers and picture frames were gold. When they got to the headmaster's office, Jesse's dad was already there. Which was surprising.

"Oh, hey dad, what's up, how's leading the Sky Clan going?" Jesse asked nervously. His dad (Michael) was super muscular... and tall 6'4 to be exact, dark blue eyes, black hair. "You want to explain to me why I was called here," Michael asked in a stern voice. Jesse looked at the headmaster (who had white hair, was super muscular, brown eyes, and a scary stare). How the hell did he call Jesse's dad so quickly?
