5!! I'm excited! I don't have a lot in mind tho, the fact that the last two chapters got less than 5 views is very sad- I spend so long making these -

-Ray's POV-

Everything is going great so far. Tomorrow is the day I confess to my crush. Just thinking about that gives butterflies in my stomach. I feel like I can drop dead any second. Norman really spaced out alot while we were sitting together. "Ray?" I heard Norman call out to me very softly "hm? What's up?" I replied with my usual voice no changes. "Are you comfortable withe staying like this??" Norman questioned as he looked at me with a slight pout.,.He looked so adorable that's all I can say. I nodded with a slight smile. I saw  Norman smiling wider as I did that. "You don't smile much, you should smile more, you look pretty while smiling" This was one of the reasons I loved Norman, he's very trustworthy and knows the right things to say at the right time.

I heard the bell ring, it was probably time for lunch but I wasn't really hungry. I know! You must be like 'you should be hungry! You skipped breakfast and you haven't ate all day!!' well I'm not the type to get hungry so often. "Norman, it's time for lunch probably" I said looking back at Norman. He let go of me and stood up he put his hand out signalling me to take it. "Let's walk together" Norman said with one of his precious smiles. "Oh..I wasn't really hungry tho" I replied looking at the ground. "No! Your not skipping lunch! You haven't ate all day Ray! That's not good for you!" Norman replied clearly worried about me.

God I'm so pathetic how could I make someone like him worry about some like me?! Why would he worry about me in the first place?!

"Oh uhm..Norman but I'm really not hungry I'm fine I can last a few days without food." I said with my head still facing the ground. Norman grabbed my arm and started pulling me. "H-Hey?! Let go! It hurts?!" I yelled at him. He was s dragging me on the floor ofc it would hurt."Sorry Ray but you gotta eat! You can't just say your not hungry?!" Norman stops dragging me puts his hand out waiting for me to grab it. I sighed and grabbed his hand he smiled at me and started walking towards the dining hall while holding my hand.

"Ray! Norman!" I heard a obnoxiously loud voice calling. "Emma" Norman said looking at her and smiling. I looked at Norman, he looked adorable while doing anything! He as in Norman looked at me "let's go to our seat shall we?" "Yea.." He said like such a gentleman! I'm probably thinking I have a crush on the best guy in the whole world! I walk behind Norman to get to my seat. I sat down next to him. I saw mother's figure emerging from the door. "Let's be greatful that all of us are here together.." Mama said while smiling and looking at everyone. "Ittadakimasu" I heard everyone say and so did I. After that everyone started eating their lunch I didn't eat much cause like I said I wasn't hungry. Norman probably noticed that and asked me "Ray? Why're you not eating as much?" "Its cause I'm not hungry...at least I'm eating a little bit.." I replied looking down at my food. Norman frowned but quickly smiled afterwards. "I guess your right!" Norman said stuffing his face with more food.

I put my chopsticks down and stand up. "I'm done" I said before leaving the dining hall. Norman eyes were on me. Well everyone's eyes were on me considering how fast I ate.

I went towards the bathroom again, I wanted to cry but I didn't know why. Why would I wanna cry in the first place? Probably because I'm a  pathetic piece of shit. Everything I do comes with a failure. If that keeps happening I'll never be able to save them. I wanted to hurt myself. I had no idea what was going on but I know my vision was getting blurry because of the water that was building up in my eyes. 'Dont let it out don't let it out don't let it out!' That's all I could think off right now. I really wanna just leave.. After awhile my tears finally escaped from my eyes... "I let it out...I couldn't stop them" I started talking to myself about how pathetic and useless I am.

I decided to leave the bathroom before anyone could have a suspicion. I quickly wiped my eyes with the sleeves of my shirt. Then I left the bathroom after washing and drying my face. I replaced my face from the sad look to my usual monotone look. I left and headed outside since that's the only place everyone is.

"Ray! C'mon! It's the same as yesterday! We're both the hiders!!" I heard Norman yell. I jogged towards Norman and he grabbed me and started taking me towards the forest. We went to the same location as yesterday l. Since there are alot of trees we went to the farthest tree. We sat in the same position to make it more comfortable.

We were alone together, we won't be alone later since the kids keep playing tag with Norman... I opened my mouth to speak but nothing came out so I closed it back. Norman must've seen this cause he asked, "Ray? You okay?" "Norman, can I ask you something?" I asked trying to make my voice as normal as possible.

N-Norman
R-Ray

"Yeah sure? What's up?" -N

"Do you..like someone?" -R

"Hm? Not that I can think of? Why is something wrong? -N

"No...It's nothing" - R

"Ray..I'm getting this weird feeling that you've been lying to me" -N

"What is that supposed to mean?" -R

"it's like- I don't know! Just...you can tell me anything" -N

"W-What if! I say it and it ends up with you hating me?" -R

Ray looked like he was on the verge of tears but he kept it in. He didn't wanna look like a crybaby infront of his crush, oh no.

"Ray..I'll never hate you" -N

"You can't be sure Norman.." -R

"I am sure, I am so sure! Just tell me?" -N

Ray had looked back at Norman. Norman's face said it all. His face said 'yoi can place your trust in me, Ray' This made Ray blush alittle. " alright...I'll tell you later in the house after this game.." Ray said looking up just to see leaves. They heard the tree shake a little. So Norman looked down to see Don. "AHA! I found you Norman!! At last!" He looked so carefree. "Heh, I guess you did, c'mon Ray don found us." Norman said while carefully climbing down the tree. Ray scoffed before climbing down but when he was halfway down he stopped. "Ray?" Norman said from the bottom of the tree. Before he could say another word Ray let go of the tree as in he jumped and landed it perfectly.

"OMG RAY! you could've hurt yourself??" Norman said worried.

"I didn't tho" -R

"THATS NOT THE POINT" -N

"Chill Norman I'm fine" -R

With that being said the three of them walked in silence. When they reached the ground and near the tree where Ray always used to sit while reading his books. "Remember you said that you would tell me after the game, now tell me" Norman said grabbing rays shoulder. " Inside the house!!" Ray whisper yelled. "Hey everyone! Me and Ray are just gonna go inside for awhile! We need to discuss something! You guys can keep playing! And Emma you are not allowed to follow us" Norman said smiling and he dragged me inside the house.

We went inside the library and we stood across each other. "So mind telling me now?" Norman said crossing his arms. "Right, listen Norman.." Ray started off. "I really..really like you..as in not a friend way" I said avoiding eye contact because I clearly knew that I was red a a tomato. But in the end I took a peek at Norman to see him shocked. "R-Ray you like me? You like me?!" Norman said I saw him blushing too. I nodded inn agreement. "You like me back too!" I heard Norman say. "You like me back aswell?!" I whisper yelled. Norman nodded and hugged me. 'i guess this day wasn't so bad after all' I hugged him back..the warn embrace of him, I never wanted to let go..but I should've known that good things must come to an end.
