Soul Keeper

Chapter 12

As Tuk and Kiri are both recaptured elsewhere in the ship, Lo'ak,  Ra'ona and Neteyam crawl upside down along a pipe above the human soldier. Ra'ona's chest pumping with adrenaline as she scanned the area. Neteyam flicks his wrist forward, towards Lo'ak and Ra'ona, who silently crawl, Finally jumping onto an upper platform.
Neteyam Looks over her for injuries as she moves her eyes to the lower deck.
The three proceed forward carefully, Ra'ona's ears twitching and flicking as she listens to the soldiers bellow, in front of her, both Neteyam and Lo'ak hold weapons, one with a knife and the other with a gun. In Ra'ona's hand, she holds out her bow, one that Neytiri had helped her make.

The three peer over the Ledge, eyes following a group of soldiers that escorted Spider away.
They look between each other as they pass bellow them. Before the boys knew it, Ra'ona jumps down, landing crouched behind them. Neteyam falters at this but smirks, jumping down to join her, followed by Lo'ak.

Ra'ona lets out a yell whacking two consecutively with the side of her bow, before using a knife and slitting their throats, the boys deal with their own humans as Neteyam kicks one into the water. Spider stands initially stunned before joining in, in ways he could as he rips a guy's face mask off.

Another that fell against the floor goes to aim at the teens, Lo'ak hissing and successfully killing him as he messily controls the gun, It's bullets spraying up.

Spider calls out to the group as Ra'ona finishes off another guy, chest heaving as she snaps her head to him.
"Guys, come on!"
Ra'ona grunts, pulling out one of her arrows before moving closer to the boys.

Neteyam nods firmly as he glances towards her.
"Let's go."
They all move to get out before more soldiers arrive, Jumping down to the platform as Ra'ona scans the area, bow in hand. Lo'ak freezes, eyes going wide as he spots Lyle across from the other side, The avatar grunting and going to pull out his gun.

"Go! Go! Go!"
Spider yells as they all run for cover, pushing each other along hurriedly, Neteyam grunts, also yanking Lo'ak as he tries to shoot.

As they move into a smaller area, Neteyam grab's the gun in Lo'ak's hand, shooting back at the avatars messily, The avatars simply duck out of the way, before jumping back up to shoot. 
Neteyam looks back at them, yelling for them to go over the sound of bullets, before turning back to shoot.
Lo'ak attempt to drag Ra'ona away, but she just pushes both the boys into the water before running back to Neteyam.

 Ra'ona just hisses and grabs him by the shoulder, pushing him in front of her towards the edge of the inner deck, Just as Lyle turns the corner with an 'gotcha' look.

Bullets spray past them, Ra'ona's heart racing as she jumps, shielding the boy lightly as she pushes him away, her eyes trailing by as he stumbles into the water.
She catches a breath, before doing the same, The adrenaline making her head rush.

Her body falls into the water clumsily as she regains control and swims, bullets still spraying past her.
Under the water, Rona's eyes move to where Neteyam had landed, hoping to look for blood to see if he was shot. 

Above the surface everyone was treading , relief flooding their faces as they look between each other. Tsireya ride in towards on an Ilu, her eyes wide as she moves towards them.
"Get on, Quick!" 
Tsireya urges on as she looks for Ra'ona, her heart beating fast.
Neteyam smiles to the girl before looking back at Ra'ona as she surfaces, his eyes shutting in relief.
