Few days later
After that day, many things happens in Zhan and Yibo's life specially to Zhan.
Ever since the day of their engagement, he was always being attacked but he never told anyone.
There is one time where he was training in early morning, but suddenly he was attacked by five guys.
He was able to take them down but it's not easy and he had gained few injuries which fortunately can be hidden by his clothes.
The second time, he was walking alone in an alley when suddenly a car tried to hit him, but luckily he had avoided it.
The car stopped few meters away before driving back and trying to hit Zhan again.
Zhan immediately took his gun and fired at the car, he hit the side mirror of the car and the car immediately left.
Zhan tried to chase it but the car is being driven so fast and so Zhan can't catch it.
Many more incidents like that happened, and Zhan keep it a secret as he don't want anyone to worry.
Now he is in the outside of his mansion, bidding farewell to his fiancee for his one month mission.
Yibo was crying and sulking but he keep telling him that he will be back.
In the end he have to kiss Yibo for few minutes before finally Yibo give up.
After hugging and kissing his fiancee he went towards his car and drive off to their camp.
After few hours he finally arrived at their camp he was late for few minutes which never happened before but what can he do, he need to tame his sulking baby first.
He saw the confused, shocked, and surprised stares of his teams but he ignored it.
"Wow, this is so unbelievable, our strict, and never late Captain is late today". Jiyang his right hand man teased but Zhan just rolled his eyes before glaring at Jiyang.
"If you have time to tease me, how about you make time to make everyone ready, we will leave in few minutes, and if no one is ready yet, I will make you run in a 200 kilometer field 100 times". Zhan said making Jiyang gasp and immediately do what Zhan asked him but not after calling Zhan a monster.
Soon everyone of his team is ready, they all went to their military car and started going towards the place where their mission will take place.
But in the middle of their trip, suddenly they were fired with bullets alarming all of them.
They immediately took their guns and tried to fight back but their enemies are well hidden.
Still they keep firing and the painful screams are telling them that they are hitting their target.
Soon many guys wearing black clothes came out and attacked them with swords, daggers and knives.
Many of them were already injured, but they keep fighting.
Zhan on the other hand was trying to help his team but suddenly a guy in dark red clothes came and attacked him.
Zhan fought back but the guy is so strong.
They fought hand in hand, they keep punching here and there, and soon both of them are very injured and panting heavily.
The guy immediately called it's allies to retreat but it only happened after the guy suddenly thrusted a dagger in Zhan's stomach.
Zhan tried to help his team but he is loosing blood and soon darkness overcome his senses.
When Zhan woke up next, he was in a hospital with a crying Yibo in his side.
Zhan tried to touch Yibo but Yibo swat his hands in anger.
"Xiao Zhan, how dare you, you promised me you will come back safe and sound, but tell me what's the meaning of this". Yibo yelled angrily while tears keep falling in his eyes.
"Sorry baby". Zhan said in hoarse voice but Yibo glared harder at him.
"Sorry, can your sorry heal your injuries, do you know how worried I am when suddenly someone called saying that you are here in the hospital, do you know how painful I feel as I see you here laying in this bed unconscious for a week already, how dare you Zhan ge". Yibo cried.
"Sorry baby, I promise it will never happen again". Zhan said as he tried to reach for Yibo only to wince in pain.
Yibo immediately called the doctor who had stitched Zhan's reopened wound again.
"Don't move an inch, focus on healing yourself, I won't talk to you until you fully heal". Yibo huffed before sitting in the chair and peeling some fruits.
"Please baby, talk to gege, I am really sorry, I promise I will not let it happen again". Zhan said trying to make Yibo talk to him again but then Yibo just feed him fruit to shut him up.
Zhan tried again and again but all went in vain, and that went on for one month, Yibo never really talks to him unless its necessary making Zhan feel like hell.
Now they are back in their mansion, Yibo is still not talking to him.
"My little sunshine, when wi you talk to me, I am already healed, please, don't torture your gege anymore". Zhan said and Yibo's eyes soften.
"Sorry gege, for not talking to you, I just want to punish you for being so careless, so please next time, don't be so careless, or else I will not talk to you forever". Yibo said and Zhan nodded before hugging his fiancee.
"I promise it won't happen again". Zhan said.
