Harry's POV:
I was upset about having to leave Louis but knew I was needed at the tower to work with my dad. Once back at the tower I went to my personal floor to take a shower and put on a suit like dad requested.
"What do you think?" I sent it to Louis. He answered back seconds later with two heart eye emojis and an emoji drooling making me laugh at his cuteness. After finishing getting ready I went to the common floor of the penthouse levels. Dad immediately started to catch me up about the topics of the meeting to make sure I am ready. While dad did this, I listened to dad while eating a bowl of fruit that Bruce handed me. When dad finished I started talking to Bruce about our recent work until it was time to go to the boardroom. " Come on, Harry. We need to get down there." Pepper yelled out. I quickly said my goodbyes to Bruce and ran to the elevator where Pepper and dad were waiting. While in the elevator I decided to send Louis a text reminding him of the meeting this morning and telling him that I would text him when I get out. I may have added that I already missed him and that I couldn't wait to have him back in my arms, but no one has to know that.
The meeting went on for two hours, but felt like five. I was happy to get out of the meeting because it was boring but also because I got out at the perfect time where Louis would have just gotten to lunch. As soon as I got to my personal floor I hit the call button.
Louis' POV:
Looking through the rear window at the vehicle carrying Harry away from me was hard. As Liam drove away, him and Niall started asking why I was crying. I knew that if I tried to talk that I wouldn't be able to stop crying. I just curled in on myself with Harry's hoodie swallowing me whole and ended up silently crying the entire way to school. When we pulled into the parking lot I tried to wipe my face free of tears but I knew by Liam and Niall's faces that anyone who looked at my face would be able to tell that I had been crying so I gave up and climbed out.
I was right. As I walked down the hall people turned and looked at me with looks of pity, not knowing what's going on but knowing I was obviously extremely upset. As I was grabbing my books from my locker my phone went off in my pocket. Hoping it was Harry, I dropped my bag on the ground and immediately got my phone out of my pocket. Harry did text! He sent a picture of him in a suit and asked how he looked. I of course sent back some emojis, not being able to form words. A few minutes later I made my way to my first class. I was on my way to my second class when Harry texted again, this time to remind me of his morning meeting and said that he will text me when it is over. He also added some really sweet words to the end of the text message that made me smile and blush, helping me feel a little bit better for the moment.
I went through the next two classes bored out of my mind not being able to text Harry. After what felt like a million years the bell finally rang for lunch. I walked down the hallway and outside to sit under the tree I have been using recently to have some privacy during Harry and I's lunch time calls. When I finally sat down by the tree I pulled out my phone only to see that Harry hadn't texted saying he was out of his meeting. A frown immediately made its way onto my face. What am I supposed to do now? Just as I was asking myself that question my phone started ringing. The phone was answered and up to my ear before I could even register what I did.
"Hi." I said. "Hey babe. I'm sorry I didn't text, I literally just got out of the meeting." Harry rushed to say. "It's okay. I was starting to think we wouldn't be able to talk for lunch." I told him sadly. "No. I'm already missing you. I wouldn't have been able to make it to the end of the day without talking to you and hearing your voice." Harry told his secret boyfriend honestly, making Louis blush. "I knew I was going to miss you but I didn't know I would miss you this much." Louis said, tearing up. "I'm sorry love. I miss you too but I promise we will see each other soon. I'll find a way for us to see each other and not have to wait until Friday." Harry promised. "I don't think I could make it to Friday." I tell him honestly, upset at the thought of not seeing Harry in person all week. "That won't happen." Harry said. We continued talking for the last few minutes of lunch until the bell rang.
"I gotta go." I told him after we both heard the bell ring. "I know. I don't have anything to do right now so feel free to text me if you want." Harry said before we said our goodbyes.
3rd Person POV:
Louis went through the rest of his school day while Harry went over contracts sitting on his couch. They of course texted while they did their own thing and that kept them from being so upset about being separated. Once school let out Louis went home. Without saying a word to his father or Anne, Louis went straight up to he and Harry's room where he immediately went to face time his boyfriend. While he sat at his desk to do his homework. Of course Harry answered, never wanting to miss a chance to talk to or see Louis. The two talked for almost four hours, talking about anything that came to mind while they did their work. Sometimes there were silences between them but they were comfortable silences that both were okay with.
The call was soon interrupted by FRIDAY telling Harry that dinner was ready on the common floor. Harry and Louis said their goodbyes and shared promises of calling after dinner before hanging up. During dinner both families noticed a differences in the teenagers but decided to leave it for the moment. When dinner was finally over both boys rushed up to their rooms so they could continue talking and seeing each other.
For the rest of the night the two teenagers stayed on face time together until they both eventually fell asleep around four in the morning due to neither really being able to get comfortable without the other in bed with them.
