Wednesday and her family now sat in Principal Weems' office. Her mom had found their old yearbook and decided to look at it. Wednesday stood in the back of the room, her hands together in front of her. "We had good times back then, didn't we Larissa?" Asked Morticia, "Some of us better than others." Principal Weems said, looking at Morticia. "Oh don't be so modest. You always filled a room with your presence. Like a stately sequoia tree." "And I suppose you were the lumberjack." Principal Weems replied. Wednesday looked at her mother and her principal. "Do you remember that talent show we did? The duet? Your Judy Garland impression was spot on." Morticia complimented, "Sounds positively suicidal." Wednesday said, giving them a weird look. Morticia asked if she could take the yearbook for the week. "Just so Gomez and I could have a walk down memory lane." Morticia announced, "Rawr." Growled Gomez, and Morticia purred back playfully. Principal Weems wanted to get on topic. They started to talk about Wednesday. "Unfortunately, Wednesday's assimilation has been rocky at best." Principal Weems said, looking at Wednesday. "Because I refuse to embrace the culture of dishonesty and denial permeating this school. Starting with the monster that killed Rowan and put Eugene in the ICU. Although I do hear he's 'On the mend'." Wednesday retorted, "We've always encouraged Wednesday to speak her mind. She has always had an..interesting perspective on certain topics." Gomez said, "Dr. Kinbott and I have spoken, and we decided it would be most beneficial for you all to attend a family session this weekend." Principal Weems said after a while. Gomez and Morticia looked around the room, most likely thinking of an excuse of why not to go. "No." Wednesday said quickly. "I thought that might be your reaction, but I'm sure your parents see the wisdom in it." Weems snapped, "Um, not to side with Wednesday, but, um, we're only here for the weekend." Morticia agreed. Wednesday looked at her mother, and smirked, as if she was proud. "Oh, come on. I think it would be fun." Gomez argued. Wednesday looked at Principal Weems, then to her father.
